SUO75 Wishing You Well

Hi Stampers!

The Stampin’ Up! Only Challenges theme for the SUO75 Challengeis Get Well Cards.  It seems as though I never have enough of these on hand so it was a perfect time for me to create one for my stash :-).

I hope you have a chance to stop by to visit SUO-OnlyChallenges to see all of the details and the other Design Team creations and play along with us!

To create this card:

Original card without butterflies
Use an AquaPainter™ to add Pool Party paint onto two pieces of Whisper White cardstock.

Once dried (I use a Heat Tool to speed up the drying process), ink the background stamp from Notable Notions using Early Espresso Classic Ink, stamp off and repeatedly stamp over the watercolored area.

Ink the solid floral image stamp from Field Flowers using Calypso Coral Classic Ink and stamp off before stamping on the script watercolor background (may need to stamp off a few times to lighten the ink).  Stamp the stem image from Field Flowers using Early Espresso Classic Ink and color with the Stampin' Write Gumball Green marker.

Use the Big Shot™ with the Window Frames Framelits™ to cut out the watercolored focal frame and cut another piece the same size Framelit™ from Early Espresso Cardstock.  Cut the Early Espresso cardstock frame in half to layer behind the focal panel with the layer showing at the top and bottom of the frame.

On the remaining watercolored background piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the sentiment from Thoughts and Prayers and use the Big Shot™ with the Chalk Talk Framelits™ to cut out the sentiment and cut another one from Early Espresso cardstock to create the frame.

****  REVISION ****   Thanks Jamie for noticing that I totally omitted the flower instructions- so sorry everyone!!

Stamp the line image flower from Field Flowers using Early Espresso Classic Ink onto Whisper White cardstock.

Revised with butterflies ;-)
Watercolor using the AquaPainter™  and picking up ink from the Crisp Cantaloupe and Calypso Coral Classic Ink pad.   Once dried, carefully cut out the flowers by hand and highlight the center of the flowers and the top of the leaves a bit using the White Gel Pen.   Adhere the flowers to the focal image using Stampin' Dimensionals® (curling a bit before adhering).

Stamp the butterflies using Early Espresso Classic Ink onto Vellum and flip the image over and place on top of the Pierce Mat.  Carefully run the Stylus Tool over the entire image as if you were embossing by hand to bring out the white of the vellum and punch out using the corresponding Bitty Butterfly and Elegant Butterfly Punches.  Bend the wings up a bit before adhering to the card using Mini Glue Dots.

Add the Antique Brad and adhere the sentiment to the card on an angle using Stampin’ Dimensionals®.

Adhere the Pearls to the corners of the sentiment layer, the butterflies and focal image frame to finish off the card.

Very pretty. But how did you do the flowers? I read through your description and I must be blind as I can't find anything about the flowers. Thanks for sharing your card!
