This fun stamp set is perfect for birthday
cards for kids of all ages!
I incorporated the
Freshly Made Sketches FMS250 Challenge for the design and it is also one of the
cards I created for the August 2016 Splitcoaststampers’ MISSION- Cards for A Cause
(The Birthday Party Project conducts birthday parties for homeless children in
shelters and other transitional housing- see more details here).
To create this card:
Create your own background paper by
stamping the Grunge Elements 2 images with turquoise, melon and tangerine ink
onto a piece of white cardstock.
Trim the stamped background into the
angle per the sketch, mount onto melon cardstock and add to the white cardstock
background panel. Stamp the sentiment from SNSS Birthday Pals Clear Stamp Set using archival
If needed, trim the background panel
once more and mount onto the melon card base.
Ink the frog and balloons from the
SNSS Birthday Pals Clear Stamp Set with
archival black ink, heat set the ink and color the images with water-based
markers (I used a bright melon, turquoise and olive green), Use a water brush to blend the color and die
cut with the coordinating dies.
