SUO154 Bloomin' Heart Congratulations

Hi Friends!

Stampin’ Up! has so many fabulous dies and we want you to highlight them on your card for this challenge.

I decided to use Bloomin’ Hearts Thinlits™ as well as the Detailed Floral Thinlits™ to create my Clean and Simple Inlaid Die-Cuts card.

I am also linking to a few challenges at Splitcoaststampers- the CAS375 "I Do" Challenge from May (these challenges do not have deadlines :-)) and the Dare To Get Dirty DTGD16dini challenge (again, you have to be a Fan Club Member to see the fun details on this challenge- see here on how to join).

I hope you will stop by the SU-Only Challenge site to checkout my sister Design Team projects as well as pull out your Stampin’ Up! supplies and join in on the fun!

This card is very easy to create:

Use the Big Shot™ with the Bloomin’ Hearts Thinlits™ to cut the heart from a piece of Whisper White cardstock, cut the large and small flowers from Tempting Turquoise cardstock.

Die cut a piece of Whisper White and Tempting Turquoise with the Detailed Floral Thinlits™ as well (to decorate the inside bottom of the card).

Adhere the flowers to the Bloomin’ Hearts die cut along with Pearls for the flower centers and add Stampin’ Dimensionals® behind the flowers on the die cut.

Ink the sentiment from Floral Phrases with Versamark™ and stamp below the heart area on the Whisper White die cut panel, apply Stampin’ Emboss® Silver Embossing Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool.

Trim the edges of the heat embossed panel, add Stampin’ Dimensionals® to the perimeter of the panel, insert the heart die cut back into the die cut opening and mount onto a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock.

Mount onto a piece of Tempting Turquoise cardstock and adhere the entire panel onto a card base of Extra Thick Whisper White cardstock.

Add the layered Whisper White and Tempting Turquoise Detailed Floral Thinlit™ to the lower portion of the card center.

Stamp Sets:  Floral Phrases

Ink: Versamark™

Paper/Cardstock:  Whisper White, Mint Macaron, Tempting Turquoise, Extra Thick Whisper White

Tools/Accessories: Big Shot™, Bloomin’ Hearts Thinlits™, Detailed Floral Thinlits™, Embossing Buddy®, Stampin’ Emboss® Silver Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Pearls

I think that this card would be perfect for a wedding or anniversary card- don’t you?  Plus, you could customize the colors to the wedding or season.

Thanks again for stopping by and we hope to see your Stampin’ Up! Only project in our “Delightful Dies” Challenge gallery!

SUO140 Beautiful Blessing

Hi Friends!

It’s time for the SUO140 “It's Time for Valentine’s” Challenge and I decided to create a very Clean and Simple (CAS) card that could be sent to your Valentine or a sweet friend for Valentine’s Day.

I decided to play along with the Splitcoaststampers’ CAS359 “Wow Them!” White on White Challenge along with the Stampin’ Celebration SC120 Inspiration  Challenge and the Just Add Ink JAI294 “Add Something New Blog Hop” Challenge (the Rose Wonder and Bloomin' Love Thinlits are brand new :-)).

I hope you will have a chance to check out my sister Design Team member samples at the SU-Only Challenge site as well as the fantastic Design Team samples at the other three sites- gorgeous inspiration from all!

To create this card:

Use the Big Shot™ along with the Precision Base Cutting Plate and Bloomin’ Heart Thinlit™ Die to cut out the heart image and a few of the flowers from a piece of Whisper White cardstock.

Ink the sentiment from Rose Wonder with Smoky Slate Classic Ink and stamp at the bottom of the cut panel.

Trim the cut panel to 4” x 5 ¼” , insert the die cut heart back into the cut opening and mount the entire panel onto the Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals®.

Spritz the die cut flowers with a bit of water to soften the cardstock, shape the flowers to curl the petals and once dried, mount onto the card front.

Add the Pearls to finish off the card.

This card was a bit difficult to photograph but the die cut heart casts pretty shadows through the opening- a quick, easy Valentine to make for anyone in your life!

What do you think?  I believe that this design could also be a Wedding or Anniversary card - of course, with a different sentiment :-)

Stamp Sets:  Rose Wonder

Ink:  Smoky Slate
Paper/Cardstock: Whisper White
Accessories: Big Shot™, Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits™ Die, Pearls

Thanks again for stopping by and we hope to see your Stampin’ Up! Only project in our “"It's Time for Valentine’s” Challenge gallery!

Sneak Peek- Embellished Ornaments with an Inlaid Die Cut Technique

Hi Friends!

I decided to create a quick and easy Christmas card using the new stamp set, Embellished Ornaments along with the coordinatings dies for the SU-per 101 Color Challenge as well as the CAS(E) This Sketch CTS138 Sketch (center "stretched" out a bit) and the Stampin' Royalty SR292 Inspiration Photo Challenge.

Again, if you have not already done so, I hope you will find the time to visit the above links to check out their wonderful Design Team entries as well as their galleries!

This card was extremely easy to create:

Use the Big Shot™ to cut out the ornaments from  the Delicate Ornaments Thinlits from Pool Party cardstock as well as Lost Lagoon cardstock,.

Emboss the Pool Party cardstock layer with the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder, trim and mount onto a piece of Tangerine Tango cardstock.

Insert the Lost Lagoon ornament die cuts into the openings on the embossed  Pool Party layer, add the die cut ornament toppers (cut from Silver Foil) along with the Silver Cord.

Mount the entire panel onto the Lost Lagoon card base, add the Rhinestones to the centers of the ornaments.

Stamp the sentiment from Embellished Ornaments using Lost Lagoon Classic Ink onto Whisper White cardstock, trim and layer onto Tangerine Tango cardstock  (creating the banner with the Hexagon  Punch).

Add the sentiment to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals to finish off the card.

Quick and easy- great for creating multiples for Christmas!

Stamp Sets: Embellished Ornaments

Ink: Lost Lagoon

Paper: Whisper White, Lost Lagoon, Pool Party, Tangerine Tango, Silver Foil
