I wanted to create a card for The Paper Players PP37 Spring Has Sprung Challenge (see http://thepaperplayers.blogspot.com ) and colors from this week’s HSSCS57 Color Challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments (see www.handstampedsentiments.blogspot.com ).
To create this card:
Below is a link from Splitcoast Stampers for the rolled flowers http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/rolledflowers/. I used cardstock instead of DSP and "scrunched" the cardstock before cutting the spiral.

Blushing Bride- one- 2 ½” x 2 ½” and one- 3 ¼” x 3 ¼”
Poppy Parade- one- 2 ½” x 2 ½”
Using the Pear Pizzazz DSP (Hostess Level I), cut the center strip and punch the edges with the Scallop Trim Border Punch.
Using the Big Shot with the Square Lattice EF, emboss a piece of Whisper White cardstock. Layer over Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade.
Add the 5/8” Whisper White Satin Ribbon and Rosettes. On Whisper White, use SU! Markers in Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade to color the sentiment and punch out the sentiment using the Decorative Label XL Punch. Punch one more out of Poppy Parade and layer under the Whisper White label to finish off the card.
Stamp Sets: Great Friend
Ink: SU! Markers- Pear Pizzazz, Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Hostess Level I DSP
