Hi
Stampers!
This
week has been very busy and I did not have a chance to spend as much time as I
would like in my craft room, so I am so thankful that I could design and create
today (thanks to my understanding hubby :-)).
I
wanted to create a card using the Fusion Challenge #1 Sketch and PhotoInspiration along with a Birthday theme for the Stampin’ Royalty SR209Challenge. I hope you will find the time
to stop by both sites to check out their great Design Teams and other entries as well!
To
create this card:
Use
the Big Shot™ along with the Fancy Fan Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder emboss
a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock (I already had a scrap piece embossed in my
stash) and the Square Lattice Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder to emboss
a piece of Etcetera Designer Series Paper (DSP).
Trim
the DSP, mount onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and mount the entire
panel onto a piece of Basic Gray cardstock.
Add
the embossed Fancy Fan strip of Very Vanilla cardstock to a piece of Basic Gray
cardstock along with the sentiment from Wetlands, adhere at the lower part of
the panel.
Add
the vertical strip of DSP with the die cut edges (cut with the Big Shot™ and
the Finishing Touches Framelits™) to the center of the panel.
Create
the rolled roses from Very Vanilla cardstock (see the basic Splitcoaststampers
tutorial here). Punch two scallop
circles using the 2 ½” Scallop Circle Punch and one scallop circle using the 1 ¾”
Scallop Circle Punch, crimp all with the
Crimper Tool and on each scallop, starting at the outside, cut a wavy spiral from
the outside towards the center and roll up.
Use Multi-Purpose Adhesive or hot glue to hold the flowers in the rolled position and also to adhere onto the DSP
vertical panel on the card front.
Add
the 1 ¼” Two-Tone Gray Double Ribbon bow and the row of Pearls to finish off
the card.
Stamp
Sets: Wetlands
Ink: Basic Gray
Paper:
Very Vanilla, Basic Gray, Etcetera DSP
Thanks for stopping
