CQC257 To Someone Special

Hi Again Stampers!!

This Clean and Layered (CAL) card was created using the CQC257 ColourQ Challenge- just under the "wire" so to speak - lol!

I hope you will have a chance to the ColourQ site- gorgeous Design Team samples as well as the fantastic gallery!

To create this CAL card:

Ink the floral image from the retired set Botanicals using Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink onto Whisper White cardstock and also stamp onto a piece of scrap paper or sticky note to create a mask.

Mask the image and stamp the script stamp from the retired set Botanicals using Night of Navy Classic Ink (stamping off first) twice over the masked flower.  Stamp the splatter image from Gorgeous Grunge using Strawberry Slush Classic Ink before removing the mask.

Color the flowers and leaves Stampin’ Write markers- Bermuda Bay, Lucky Limeade, Strawberry Slush and Night of Navy.

Cut the image out using the Big Shot™ with the Ovals Collection Framelits™ and cut an oval from Night of Navy and Strawberry Slush cardstock as well.  Layer the split cardstock ovals behind the focal image and mount onto Whisper White cardstock using Stampin’ Dimensionals®.

Mount the background panel onto Strawberry Slush, trim and mount again onto the Night of Navy card base.

Add the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals® to finish off the card.

Stamp Sets: Gorgeous Grunge, Botanicals (retired)

Ink: Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink , Night of Mavy, Strawberry Slush;  Stampin’ Write markers- Bermuda Bay, Lucky Limeade, Strawberry Slush and Night of Navy

Paper: Whisper White, Night of Navy, Strawberry Slush

Accessories: Big Shot™, Ovals Collection Framelits™, Hexagon Punch (banner points on sentiment)

Thanks again for stopping by- have a wonderful evening!

  1. Another beauty Julie - the flower looks like it could be picked straight off the page. Love the script background too. Thanks for playing along again!
