Hi
Stampers!!
I
had a chance this evening to create a card using the Paper Players PP213 ColorChallenge by Anne Marie along with the Freshly Made Sketches FMS154 Challengeby Cindy L.
I
hope you will have a chance to visit both sites to check out the wonderful Design
Team samples as well as their fantastic galleries!
To
create this card:
Ink
the Christmas Bauble and Endless Wishes sentiment images onto Whisper White
cardstock using Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink.
Color
the ornament using Stampin’ Write Markers- Always Artichoke, Blackberry Bliss,
Cajun Craze and Baked Brown Sugar. Use an AquaPainter™ to add Frost White Shimmer Paint to the Baked Brown Sugar area and add a
few highlights using the Chalk Marker and carefully cut out the image by hand.
Layer
a strip of retired Always Artichoke Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP) and a
strip of Cajun Craze DSP (from the retired DSP stack) onto a pieces of Blackberry
Bliss cardstock for the vertical elements of the sketch.
Mount
a piece of Whisper White cardstock onto a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock
for the background panel. Add the Always
Artichoke and Cajun Craze strips.
Adhere
a piece of Park Lane DSP to a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock (rounding the
corners with the Envelope Punch Board before adhering together) and mount this
panel onto the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals®.
Add
the retired Gold Cord to the ornament and mount the ornament to the panel using
Stampin’ Dimensionals®.
Mount
the entire panel to the card front and add the sentiment to the upper right
corner of the Park Lane DSP panel (punch the sentiment out using the 1 3/8”
Circle Punch and layer onto a circle punched from Blackberry Bliss prior to adhering
to the card front).
Add
a few Pearls to the center of the ornament to finish off the card.
