PP228 CAS Faith, Hope and Love

Hi Stampers!!

I decided to create a Clean and Simple (CAS) card for the PP228 CAS SentimentOnly Challenge at The Paper Players along with the Splitcoaststampers USEIT2015 Challenge (challenge to use stamps or products that you own that you have not used yet) and the Divine Design Bible Verse Challenge 2015.

I decided to pull out a retired set from 2005 that has not ever seen ink plus some retired Designer Series Paper (DSP) from years ago :-)

Hopefully you will find the time to visit each of the sites/galleries- check out the Design Team samples as well as the other entries (great job by all!)...

To create this card:

Ink the Love panel using Blushing Bride Classic Ink onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamp the verse sentiment using Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink over the Love sentiment. Trim the panel and mount onto Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

Use the Big Shot™ to cut the lace border die from Whisper White cardstock, trim to fit the sentiment panel and add to the back.

Use the Big Shot™ with the Woodgrain Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Whisper White cardstock, trim to 1 ¼” width and mount onto a piece of onto Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

Mount the retired piece of Blushing Bride Designer Series Paper (DSP)  to a piece of Whisper White cardstock, trim and mount onto a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock, trim and mount onto the Whisper White card base.

Add the vertical embossed panel to the card front and mount the sentiment panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals® to finish off the card.

Stamp Sets:  Peace & Love

Ink: Blushing Bride, Cherry Cobbler
Paper: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, retired Blushing Bride DSP

Accessories: Big Shot™,  Woodgrain Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder, Beautiful Borders Die (ODBD)

Thanks again for taking the time to stop by- I hope you have a blessed week!

  2. Very pretty, Julie! I recognized this "love" stamp and knew it was an oldie but goodie! I love how you overstamped the verse atop it, and your colors are lovely! Thanks so much for participating in my Paper Players challenge this week!
