A Merry Vintage Christmas in April :-)

Hi Stampers!

I had a chance to stamp yesterday and have several cards to share with you during the day today:-)

This card was created using the Merry Monday#154 Vintage Style theme along with the Splitcoaststampers’ CC512 Color Challenge (see details here and gallery here) and SC533 Sketch Challenge (see details here and gallery here).

I hope you will have the time to check out all of the linked sites- gorgeous creations and inspiration from all!

To create this card:

Ink the Our Daily Bread Designs (ODBD) His Gift poinsettia image using Stāz-On® Jet Black Ink onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock.

Use an AquaPainter™ with Blushing Bride, Rich Razzleberry and Mossy Meadow Classic Ink to watercolor the poinsettia image.  Add additional details with Stampin’ Write Markers along with Sahara Sand for shadows and the background.

Apply Frost White Shimmer Paint to the petals and background and use Faber-Castell® Pitt Pen markers to add highlights and details to the petals.

Hand cut into the image along the edges so that a few of the leaves and petals can be lifted to avoid cutting with the Big Shot™ and the Circle Collection Framelit™ in the next step.

Use the Big Shot™ with the Circle Collection Framelit™ to cut out the poinsettia image along with another circle from Rich Razzleberry and Mossy Meadow cardstock.

Layer the Rich Razzleberry and Mossy Meadow circles behind the poinsettia focal image.

Use Big Shot™ with the retired Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock (this was already embossed and in my stash), trim and mount onto a piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock.

Adhere a piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock to a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock and emboss with the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder. Mount the panel to the card front and add the Poinsettia image to the panel.

Add the 7/8” Sahara Sand Lace Trim and the 3/8” Mossy Meadow Stitched Satin Ribbon strip and mount the entire panel onto the Blushing Bride card base.

Stamp the sentiment from the retired Bells and Boughs set using Stāz-On® Jet Black Ink (or use a My Digitial Studio (MDS) image printed onto Whisper White cardstock which is what I had in my stash).

Punch out the sentiment with the Note Punch and punch an additional piece from Rich Razzleberry and Mossy Meadow cardstock.

Lightly ink the script background of the poinsettia image using a Sahara Sand Stampin’ Write Marker and stamp onto the sentiment.

Use a Sponge Dauber using Sahara Sand Classic Ink to distress the paper and use the large splatter stamp using Sahara Sand to add more distressing.

Apply Frost White Shimmer Paint and allow the tag to dry.

Split the Rich Razzleberry and Mossy Meadow Note Punch pieces in half and adhere behind the sentiment to allow a bit of the color to show behind the sentiment.

Mount the tag to the card front using Stampin’  Dimensionals® and add the Pearls to finish off the card.
