I had a chance to spend some time stamping this weekend- it is
so relaxing!
This Clean and Simple (CAS) card was created for the Our DailyBread Designs ODBDSLC235 “April Showers bring May Flowers” using the
Splitcoastampers CC516 Color Challenge (see details here or gallery here) along with the FM206 “Singing in the Rain”Challenge.
I hope you will have a
chance to visit and check out all of the wonderful Design projects and other
entries at the above sites!
To create this card:
Ink the Our Daily Bread Designs (ODBD) Sentiments Collection
#9 using Stāz-On® Jet Black Ink and stamped on Whisper White cardstock.
Ink the large splatter stamp from Gorgeous Grunge with Melon
Mambo Classic Ink and repeatedly stamp onto the panel.
Trim the panel and mount onto the Melon Mambo card base.
Use the Big Shot™ with the Spellbinders Umbrella Trio die to
cut the umbrella from Whisper White cardstock.
Adhere the umbrella to the card panel and mount the umbrella
interior panels using Stampin’
Dimensionals®.
Create the rolled flowers using Pink Pirouette and Melon Mambo
cardstock using the 1 ¾” and 1 ¼” Scallop Circle Punches (punch the scallop circle,
hand cut a wavy spiral from the outside of the scallop circle toward the
center, use the retired Crimper Tool to distress a bit, roll up from the
outside edge and adhere using Tombow Multi-Purpose Adhesive or a Hot Glue Gun).
Punch out the leaves from Wild
Wasabi cardstock using the Bird Builder Punch, adhere the leaves behind the
rolled flowers and add to the center of the umbrella die to finish off the card
(again, I used a Hot Glue Gun since I had it on my desk and ready to go).
