I decided to create
another quick Clean and Simple (CAS) Mixed Media card this evening using the CTS116 CAS(E) This Sketch! Challenge along
with the CQC285 ColourQ Challenge and the Splitcoaststampers CAS311 Rainbow
Challenge (see the details here and the gallery here).
Again, I hope you
will take the time to visit the above sites- the Design Team creations as well
as galleries provide so much inspiration!
Trim a piece of Pool
Party cardstock and mount onto the Melon Mambo card base.
Mask a piece of Whisper White cardstock to create a square near the top of the panel.
Directly apply Lemon
and Cotton Candy Faber-Castell® Gelatos® onto the Positively Chevron background
stamp, spritz with water and stamp onto the area within the mask.
Allow to dry and
stamp the large splatter stamp using Melon Mambo Classic Ink.
Ink the sentiment
from Trust God using Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink and stamp below the chevron
image.
Trim the panel and mount onto a
piece of Melon Mambo cardstock.
Using Memento™ Tuxedo Ink, stamp two of the
large flowers and one of the buds from Bloom with Hope onto Whisper White cardstock.
Color the stems using
the retired Lucky Limeade Stampin’ Write marker. Use an AquaPainter™ with Melon Mambo Classic
Ink to add color to the blossoms and use the Stampin’ Write Melon Mambo marker to add
more definition along with the Crumb Cake marker to add a few shadows.
Fussy-cut the flowers
and add to the chevron panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals®.
Mount the floral
panel to the card front to finish off the card.
Stamp
Sets: Bloom with Hope, Positively Chevron, Trust God, Gorgeous Grunge
Ink: Faber-Castell® Gelatos®- Lemon and
Cotton Candy, Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink, Melon Mambo Classic Ink; Stampin’
Write markers- Lucky Limeade, Melon Mambo, Crumb Cake

Accessories: AquaPainter™, note paper for masking
