Dove of Peace- Another Sneak Peek :-)

Hi Again Friends!

This card was created using the Splitcoaststampers’ CC545 Color Challenge (minus the “dessert” of the butterfly) using the Tis' the Season TTS49 Sketch Challenge (flipped the sketch).

This is also another design for the Splitcoaststampers' CCC15 Christmas Card Challenge (this challenge is for your own goals to create Christmas cards all year long-love this incentive!) :-)

If you have not had a chance to visit the above challenge sites yet, again, I would encourage you to do so- fabulous Design Team samples and inspiration from all!

To create this card:

Use the Embossing Buddy® to de-static a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, ink the Dove of Peace image using Versamark™ Ink (only inking the dove at this time) and stamp onto the prepared piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.

Apply Stampin’ Emboss® Gold Embossing Powder and use the Heat Tool to heat set the powder.

Carefully cut out the dove around the embossed outline (“fussy-cut”) and mount using Stampin’ Dimensionals® onto a square of Brushed Gold cardstock.

Repeat the embossing steps above for the sentiment portion of the Dove of Peace stamp set, trim around the sentiment and set aside.

Use the Big Shot™ with the Woodgrain Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, trim the panel and add the 5/8” Gold Satin Ribbon bow.

Mount the embossed panel with the bow onto a piece of Brushed Gold cardstock, trim and adhere to the Very Vanilla card base.

Mount the focal image panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals® and  add the sentiment to the card front.

Add a few Pearls to finish off the card.

Stamp Sets:  Dove of Peace

Ink: Versamark™

Paper/Cardstock:  Very Vanilla, retired Brushed Gold

Accessories:  Big Shot™, Woodgrain Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder, Embossing Buddy®, Stampin’ Emboss® Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, 5/8” Gold Satin Ribbon, Pearls

Thanks again for taking the time to stop by- I hope all of you have a wonderful day!
