This card
was created using the brand new stamp set, Lighthearted Leaves for the Create with Connie and Mary CCMC370 Color Challenge along with the Seize the Birthday 082715 Challenge and the Splitcoaststampers’ SC518 Sketch Challenge.
If you
have not had a chance to visit the above challenge sites yet, again, I would
encourage you to do so- wonderful Design Team samples and inspiration from all!
To create
this card:
Use the
Embossing Buddy® to de-static a piece of Whisper White cardstock, ink the Lighthearted
Leaves image using Versamark™ Ink and stamp onto the prepared piece of Whisper
White cardstock.
Apply
Stampin’ Emboss® Black Embossing Powder and use the Heat Tool to heat set the
powder.
Color the
image using Pool Party and Watermelon Wonder Stampin’ Write Markers. Once
the coloring is finished, use a Sponge Dauber to apply Pool Party and
Watermelon Wonder Classic Ink around the edges of the leaf and add a few white highlights using the Chalk Marker.
Ink the
smaller leaf image using Watermelon Wonder Classic Ink and stamp around the
edges.
Trim the
panel, mount onto Basic Black cardstock, trim and mount onto Whisper White
cardstock, trim and mount onto Basic Black cardstock.
Stamp the
sentiment from Butterfly Basics using Stāz-On® Jet Black Ink onto a piece of
Whisper White cardstock, trim the panel and mount onto a piece of Basic Black
cardstock, trim and mount onto the Watermelon
Wonder card base.
Use the
Big Shot™ with the Woodgrain Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder to emboss a
piece of Pool Party cardstock, trim the panel and mount onto a piece of Basic
Black cardstock.
Mount the
embossed Pool Party panel to the card front and add the looped Silver Cord.
Add the
focal image using Stampin’ Dimensionals® and add a few Rhinestones to finish
off the card.
