ODBD September 2016 New Release Reminder

Hi Friends!

Today we are taking a look back at the Our Daily Bread Designs September 2016 Release on the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog, and if you have not had a chance to check out the ODBD Blog post yet, I know that you will not want to miss out on the inspiration from the rest of the Breadbaskets- gorgeous examples from all!

In additon to ODBD Dies and Paper from previous releases, my card features the brand new ODBD Rise and Shine Stamp Set along with the new ODBD Beverage Cup Dies.

I love the sentiments included with the ODBD Rise and Shine Stamp Set- perfect for cards as well as Bible Art Journaling and the new dies can create so many different combinations!!

To create this card:

Die cut and emboss a piece of dark brown cardstock with the ODBD Flourished Star Pattern Die, mount onto a piece of white cardstock.

Cut the striped panel of ODBD Rustic Beauty Collection 6x6 Paper Pad with the ODBD Rectangles Dies and mount onto the card front.

Die cut and emboss a piece of white cardstock with the ODBD Doily Dies and mount onto the card front.

Add a strip of dark brown satin ribbon across the center, wrap the ends behind the card front and mount the entire panel onto the card base.

Die cut and emboss a piece of white cardstock with the ODBD Flower Lattice Die and adhere over the satin ribbon layer.

Ink the sentiment from the ODBD Rise and Shine Stamp Set with dark brown ink, stamp onto a piece of white cardstock and color the interior of the letters with a light plum marker (it is hard to see this in the photo :-)).

Die cut and emboss with the ODBD Lacey Square Dies and mount onto the card front with dimensional foam.

Die cut and emboss the Beverage Cup Dies from various cardstock and ODBD Heart and Soul Collection 6x6 Paper (I used two different pieces of the ODBD Heart and Soul Collection 6x6 Paper for the coffee cup and wrapper, white cardstock for the foam and dark brown cardstock for the straw, heart and chocolate bar).

Assemble the die cut coffee cup and adhere to the card front with dimensional foam.

Die cut and emboss dark brown cardstock with the Small Bow Dies, assemble the bow and adhere to the card front.

Use a clear glitter pen to add shimmer to the heart and foam and add the pearls to the center of the heart as well as the Flower Lattice Die cut to finish off the card.

I hope you will find the time to visit each of my DT Sisters blog posts and leave them some “love” (comments) :
