Hi Friends!
Today I am sharing a fun
card using the Artistic Outpost stamp
sets, Seed Packets
Background, Harvest
and Grunge Elements
along with the ODBD Fun and Fancy Folds Z-Fold Card, ODBD Tag Trio Dies and
ODBD Blooming Garden Collection 6x6 Paper Pad (all available at Our Daily Bread
Designs).
I have also incorporated the Just Add Ink "Just Add 'G'" Challenge in to the design (G=Gardening, Green, Gloves, Grunge Elements, Glitter (hard to see a bit of glitter in the sun rays around the farmer's head).
If you have not had a chance to visit the AO Blog or the Just Add Ink site yet, I hope you will do so- fabulous inspiration from my AO DT Sisters as well as the JAI DT and Gallery!!
To create this card:
Fussy-cut the
shovel/planting tools image from the sheet of ODBD Blooming Garden Collection6x6 Paper, layer onto black cardstock and fussy cut close to the edge.
Cut the pieces of the
ODBD Blooming Collection 6x6 Paper using the ODBD Fun and Fancy Folds Kraft
Z-Fold card as guide, distress the edges of the designer paper with
a distressing tool, mount onto black cardstock before adhering each to the Z-Fold card base.
Wrap hemp twine
around the space at the bottom of the center fold and add the hemp bow.
Ink the AO Seed Packets
Background image as well as the sentiment and the farmer image from
ODBD Harvest with
ground espresso distress ink and stamp onto sand cardstock.
Watercolor the the AO Seed Packets
Background image with crushed pumpkin, peeled
paint and wild honey distress inks, die cut with the ODBD Tag Trio Dies (also
cutting another tag from black cardstock), split the black tag in half and
layer behind the AO Seed Packets Background tag.
Add an antique brad
with hemp twine to the tag and mount onto the card front with dimensional foam.
Trim the stamped AO Harvest sentiment and farmer image, mount both
onto black cardstock (trimming close to the edges), sponge pumice stone
distress ink over all edges (including the card base and tag) and add distressing
with the large splatter stamp from AO Grunge Elements with frayed burlap
distress ink.
Mount the farmer
image along with the sentiment using dimensional foam to finish off the card.
Thanks again for taking
the time to visit and I hope you have a wonderful weekend, my friends!
Wonderful vintage style. I really like the brightness of your tag against the neutrals on the rest of the card. Chantell JAI
