I
had a chance to create another card using the October 2016 Our Daily Bread Designs Release stamp set, Our Savior’s Birth along with the new ODBD Holy Night Die, ODBD Christmas Card 2016 Collection 6x6 Paper Pad, ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies and ODBD Pierced Circles Dies.
I
love creating Christmas cards all year long but find that I am a bit behind my
normal schedule for this year- yikes! I will be
sharing a few more Christmas cards over the next few weeks trying to play "catch up" :-)
I also wanted to participate in a few of my favorite online challenges so I incorporated the Alphabet Challenge “R for Recipe” (Ribbon, Stamp, Die Cut) as well as
the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge “Anything Goes” Challenge into the design.
If
you have not already had a chance to stop by the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog or the other challenge sites yet, I
hope you will find time to do so- fabulous inspiration from all!
To
create this card:
Die
cut and emboss the ODBD Holy Night Die from silver metallic paper, adhere to a
piece of white cardstock, die cut and emboss with the ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies and mount the panel onto the piece of ODBD Christmas Card Collection 2016 Paper (this was a scrap that I had after die cutting out the main image from another project- I am so glad that I kept this piece since I love the purple pattern :-)).
Adhere
the gray satin triple ribbon bow (wrapping the ends of the ribbon behind the
panel) and mount onto the white card base.
Stamp
the sentiment from ODBD Our Savior’s Birth with archival black ink onto white
cardstock, die cut and emboss with the ODBD Pierced Circle Dies and mount onto
a split gray cardstock circle (also die cut with the same size die from the ODBD PiercedCircles Dies).
Add
the sentiment with dimensional foam and adhere the rhinestone embellishment to
the center of the ribbon bow and star to finish off the card.
Quick
and easy, perfect for creating multiple Christmas cards although I will most likely hand deliver this card to
the recipients (due to the bow and embellishment).:-)
What a stunning Christmas card! I love the colors and that beautiful Holy Night die!! Thanks for joining us at Alphabet Challenge Blog.
