ODBDSLC281 Thanks So Much

Hi Friends!

Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light “ODBDSLC281” Let’s Be Sentimental” Challenge for December.  We are encouraging you to pull out your sentiment stamps and come join us!

Just a reminder that you have until Friday, December 30, 2016 to join us for a chance to be spotlighted for the Shining the Light award or to win a $15 ODBD gift certificate (one random participant will be chosen).  To be spotlighted for the Shining the Light Award, you must use ODBD stamps (or stamps from our sister companies: North Coast Creations or Artistic Outpost).

If you have not visited the rest of my ODBD Design Team Sisters’ blogs and checked out their fabulous projects yet, I hope you will find time to do so:

To create this card:

1). Die cut and emboss the banners for the upper right hand corner of the card using the new ODBD Pennant Flags Dies from several designs of paper from the ODBD Patriotic Collection 6x6 Paper Pad.

2). Die cut and emboss dark navy cardstock with the ODBD Double Stitched Pennant Flag Dies and layer the die cut banners from step 1 above.

3). Ink the sentiment from the ODBD Pennant Flag Verses (Clear Stamps) using dark navy ink, stamp onto white cardstock, die cut/emboss with the ODBD Pennant Flags Dies, mount onto dark navy cardstock with the ODBD Double Stitched Pennant Flag Dies.

4). Ink the ODBD Not Forgotten image with archival black ink, stamp onto white cardstock, color the image with cherry, navy and taupe ink, trim the panel and mount onto navy cardstock.

5). Die cut and emboss a piece of white cardstock for the background using the ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies, mount onto the navy card base, add the strip of striped designer paper from the ODBD Patriotic Collection 6x6 Paper Pad along with the knotted hemp twine.

6). Mount the water colored ODBD Not Forgotten image with dimensional foam and add the layered pennants in the upper right hand corner of the card.

7). To finish off the card, die cut and emboss a piece of the ODBD Patriotic Collection 6x6 Paper Pad using the ODBD Pennant Row Dies, trim the ends of the die cut banner to fit and add to the upper left hand corner of the card.  Accent the top of the row with knotted hemp twine as an accent.

Thanks again for taking the time to stop by!  We hope you will be able to join us for the Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light “ODBDSLC281” Let’s Be Sentimental” Challenge!

Hugs and have a blessed week, my friends!
