I
hope all of you had a great weekend! I had a chance to stamp this past weekend
and wanted to share a card I designed with the brand new ODBD February 2017
Release stamp sets, Happy Valentine’s Day and To My Favorite along with previously
released ODBD Dies and Paper.
I
incorporated the Hand Stamped Sentiments HSS256 Sketch Challenge along with The
Paper Players PP330 “Will You Be My Valentine?”.
If
you have not had a chance to visit the ODBD Blog yet or the challenge sites yet,
I would encourage you to do so- wonderful inspiration from all!
To
create this card:
1).
Die cut and emboss a piece of vanilla cardstock with the ODBD Pierced Rectangles Die, mount onto a piece of espresso cardstock, trim close to the
edge and mount onto the white card base.
2).
Die cut and emboss three different sizes of the ODBD Double Stitched Rectangle Dies from espresso cardstock. Trim three
pieces of the ODBD Cozy Quilt Collection 6x6 Paper Pad to fit the die cut
rectangles, split in half and adhere to the card front per the Hand Stamped
Sentiments sketch layout.
3).
Die cut and emboss a piece of vanilla and espresso cardstock with the ODBD
Pierced Circles Dies. Ink the ODBD Happy Valentine’s Day stamp with espresso ink and stamp onto the die cut vanilla
circle. Adhere the two circles together
and mount to the card front with dimensional foam.
4).
Ink the heart and sentiment from the ODBD To My Favorite stamp set with
espresso ink, stamp onto a piece of vanilla cardstock, die cut and emboss with
the ODBD Pennant Flags Dies. Die cut and emboss a piece of espresso cardstock
with the ODBD Double Stitched Pennant Flags Dies, layer behind the stamped
pennant flag and mount onto the card front with dimensional foam.
5). Die cut and emboss pieces of peach,
vanilla and light green cardstock with the ODBD Bitty Blossoms Dies, assemble
the flowers and mount onto the card front.
6).
Add a pearls to the flower centers to finish off the card.
Thanks
again for taking the time to stop by and visit- hugs and I hope I have inspired
you to create something this week!
