ODBDSLC284 "I Am the Resurrection and the Life"

Hi Friends!

It’s not too late to join us for the Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light ODBDSLC284 “Anything Goes with ODBD” Challenge!  This month we want to see your creations using at least one Our Daily Bread Designs products (stamps, dies, paper from ODBD, Northcoast Creations or Artistic Outpost).

I decided to create another card showcasing the March 2017 ODBD Release stamp set Daffodils, coordinating Daffodil Die and the new Circle Scalloped Rectangles Dies along with the previously released Pierced Rectangles Dies.

If you have not visited the rest of my ODBD Design Team Sisters’ blogs and checked out their fabulous projects yet, I hope you will find time to do so:

To create this card:

1). Using the Pierced Rectangles Dies, die cut and emboss a piece of bright green cardstock, mount onto the white card base.

2). Die cut and emboss a piece of white cardstock with the largest die from the Circle Scalloped Rectangles Dies, mount onto the card front.

3). Die cut and emboss a piece of white cardstock using the medium die from the Pierced Rectangles Dies, ink and stamp the sentiment from Daffodils using archival black ink and mount onto the card front with dimensional foam.

4). Ink the Daffodils floral image with archival black ink, stamp onto a piece of white cardstock and watercolor with water based markers.  Die cut with the coordinating Daffodils Die and mount onto the card front with dimensional foam.

5). Add a few pearls to finish off the card.

Don’t forget- you have until April 2, 2017 to join us for a chance to be spotlighted for the Shining the Light award or to win a $15 ODBD gift certificate (one random participant will be chosen).

Thanks again for taking the time to stop by!  We hope you will be able to join us for the Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light ODBDSLC284 “Anything Goes with ODBD ” Challenge!

  1. Julie, I always love your cards, and I love the beautiful daffodils and the great new dies. And I especially love the wonderful Scripture verse reminding us of the precious meaning of spring and things coming to life as Jesus gave His life for us. Hugs and love! xoxo
