Hi
Friends!
I
hope all of you are having a productive week so far! I am finally having a
chance to catch up on some of my favorite online challenges and created another
Clean and Simple (CAS) card using several stamp sets from Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps- Sweet
As Honey, Thoughtful
Words and Grunge
Elements 2.
I
am linking this card to the Less Is More #373 “Friendship Challenge along with
the Little Red Wagon #450 “To Bee or Not To Bee” Challenge. Once I finished the
card, I realized that the design is a modified version of the CASE This Sketch #276 Sketch Challenge.
If
you have not had a chance to visit the above challenge sites or the SNSS Blog/FB Page yet, I encourage
you to do so- fabulous inspiration from all!
To
create this card:
1). Using archival black ink, stamp bee image from Sweet
As Honey onto white cardstock and heat set with a heat tool. Color the image with water-based markers and
fussy-cut the bee.
2).
Using a rectangle stitched die, die cut two pieces of white cardstock (one for
the card base and one for the focal image).
3). On the smaller
rectangle, stamp the honeycomb image from Sweet
As Honey as well as the splatter image from Grunge
Elements 2 with distress oxide inks and dry with a heat tool.
4). De-static
the panel with an embossing powder tool, stamp the sentiment from Thoughtful
Words with archival black ink, apply clear embossing powder
and heat set with a heat tool.
5).
Mount both panels to a white card base, add the fussy-cut bee image and a few
crystal drops to mimic honey. To finish
off the card, use a clear glitter pen to add shimmer to the bee and honeycomb.
