Beautiful In His Time

Hi Friends!

I hope all of you are having a great week so far! I am still working on organizing my craft/stamp studio and had a chance to create a card in between working on my never-ending (or at least it seems to be :-)) process.

If you have not had a chance to visit the above challenge sites or the SNSS Blog/FB Page yet, I encourage you to do so- wonderful inspiration from all!

To create this card:

1). De-static two pieces of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool, stamp the verse sentiment from New Creature  onto one panel and the butterflies/moths onto the other with archival black ink, apply clear embossing and heat set with a heat tool.  Once the embossing has cooled, watercolor the butterfly/moth images with water-based markers and fussy-cut.

2). Die cut the verse sentiment with a stitched rectangle die, mount onto a piece of black cardstock, trim close to the edge and lightly stencil distress ink over the verse.

3). On a piece of designer paper, ink the crosshatch and splatter stamp from the Texture Tiles I stamp set using distress ink and stamp repeatedly over the panel.  Die cut with a stitched rectangle die, mount onto a piece of black cardstock and trim close to the edge.  Mount the panel onto the white card base.

4). Mount the verse sentiment panel onto the card front with dimensional foam and adhere the butterfly/moths.

5). Finish off the card with a few pearls and a clear glitter pen to add shimmer to the wings of the butterfly/moths.
