Today
I am sharing another quick card using Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps - Texture
Tiles 4, Texture
Tiles 1, 11th Birthday Throwback: Cocoa's Cups and Home
for the Holidays.
I am
participating with the 2018 Fall| Winter Coffee Love’s Blog Hop Challenge along
with the Simon Monday “B is for ?“ (B= Bermuda Bay) Challenge, the Double Trouble #16 “Three Amigos & Coffee Lovers (Winter/Holiday)” Challenge (I used heat embossing) and the Word Art Wednesday #364-#365 “Anything Goes”Challenge.
If
you have not had a chance to visit the above challenge sites or the SNSS Blog/FB Page yet, I encourage
you to do so- gorgeous inspiration from all!
To
create this card:
1).
Using a Stampin’ Write Bermuda Bay marker, ink the plaid image from Texture
Tiles 4, “huff” onto the
stamp (to re-moisten the ink) before stamping onto a piece of white cardstock. Repeat the process a few times, splash a bit
of water onto the panel and once dried, die cut with a stitched rectangle die.
2). De-static the dried panel with an embossing powder tool, ink the
sentiment from 11th
Birthday Throwback: Cocoa's Cups with
a black archival ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat
tool. Using Melon Mambo ink, stamp the splatter
image Texture
Tiles 1 , mount onto a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock (die cut with a stitched
rectangle die), and mount onto a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock before mounting
onto the white card base.
3).
De-static another piece of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool, ink
the mouse image from the 11th
Birthday Throwback: Cocoa's Cups stamp set with a black archival ink, stamp
onto the prepared panel, apply clear embossing ink and heat set with a heat
tool. Ink the holly/heart image form Home
for the Holidays with black archival ink, stamp into the
center of the teacup, apply clear embossing ink and heat set with a heat tool. Once the embossing powder has cooled, use
water-based markers to water color the image before fussy-cutting.
4). Mount the fussy-cut image onto the card
front with dimensional foam. Use a clear
glitter pen to add shimmer to the heart.
5). Add a few
sequins to finish off the card.
