Hi Friends!
Today I am sharing another Christmas
card designed with stamps, dies and designer paper from
The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
I love all of the sentiments in the new
I decided to use a
modified version of the Splitcoaststampers
SC343 (some of you are aware that I have a personal goal of creating a card for use
of the 850+ sketches at SCS- over half way there! :-)).
I am
also linking this card to the Tic-Tac-Toe #90
Challenge (diagonal Plaid-Holiday- Include Neutral Color) and the Word Art Wednesday
#464-#465 “Anything Goes” Challenge.
The background panel
strips were created with the Fishtail
Sentiment Banner Dies using a plaid pattern from the Little
Lumber Jack 6x6 paper pad by Echo Park and mounted onto white cardstock.
Black
seam binding ribbon along with the Tim Holtz crochet die and a spare button from my stash were layered prior to adding
the wreath and poinsettia
from Seasonal Wreaths- Fall & Winter.
The “Merry Christmas” sentiment from Typewritten Year Round Sentiments was stamped with Versamark ink onto black cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The sentiment was carefully cut apart before adding to the card front with chipboard.
To finish off the
card, a clear
glitter marker was used to add shimmer to the petals, an extra fine white
paint pen for highlights to the flower center and few Nuvo pearl drops were added for additional texture. .
