Nothing Will Be Impossible

Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing an encouragement card designed with the new Craft Consortium Ocean Ink Drops 6x6 Paper Pad along with the Ocean Seam Binding Bundle, Scripture for Graduation & Beyond as well as a few other supplies, all from Stamp Simply.

Since the new Ocean Ink Drops Paper is so gorgeous, I chose not to cover up too much of the design :-)  I love all of the colors and the Ocean Seam Binding bundle matches perfectly!  Look at all of those scrumptious colors- 30 yards total!

And the  sentiments and verses in the Scripture for Graduation & Beyond are perfect for graduation, retirement and encouragement- one of my favorite stamp sets for sure!

Also, as many of you who follow my blog know, I have a personal goal to create a card with each of Splitcoaststampers sketches and decided to use the Splitcoaststampers SC886 Sketch for the design on this card (I did modify slightly with the ribbon).

I am also playing along with the Word Art Wednesday #529-#530 “Anything Goes”Challenge.

If, you have not already done so, I hope you have a chance to visit the Stamp Simply blog to see all of the inspiration from the rest of the SS Design Team!  Also, Splitcoaststampers and Word Art Wednesday are fabulous sites for inspiration as well!

To create this card:

Trim a piece of the Ocean Ink Drops 6x6 paper to approx. 4” x 5”, cut into five panels in various widths.

Mount onto a piece of light green cardstock, trim and mount again onto a piece of teal cardstock.

Add a strip of the light blue/green seam binding from the Ocean Seam BindingBundle, wrap the ends behind the panel.

De-static a piece of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool, stamp the scripture sentiment from Scripture for Graduation & Beyond with archival black ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Once the embossing has cooled, die cut with the medium Hemstitch Rectangle Die, mount onto light green cardstock and trim close to the edge.

Adhere the sentiment to the card front with dimensional foam and mount onto a white card base.

Add a strip of the same pattern paper Ocean Ink Drops paper to the inside lower edge of the card- first mount the strip onto light green, then teal cardstock). FYI- I used part of the 2” scrap remaining from the Ocean Ink Drops panel used on the front of the card (hard to see in the photos).

Add the seam binding bow along with a few black rhinestones to finish off the card.
