Hi Friends!
Welcome to our #192 {Happy Easter} at The Card Concept!
The Card Concept is a bi-weekly
challenge and we would love for you to create a card based on our inspiration
photo and join us!
This is a fabulous fireplace and I love how they
decorated it for Easter. I was inspired by
the neutral colors, the cross on the mantle and the overall theme of Easter for my Clean
and Layered card.
As many of you who follow my blog also know, I
enjoy participating with other online challenges (I know how much work goes
into maintaining a challenge blog and want to give support). I will be linking this card to the Word
Art Wednesday #589-#590 “Anything Goes” Challenge.
If you have not already visited us at The
Card Concept, I hope you will find the time to do so. Gorgeous inspiration from the rest of the DT
as well as the Word
Art Wednesday challenge site.
This card was fairly quick and easy to
create. The verse sentiment from the Easter
stamp set (Stamp Simply) was heat embossed on vellum, die cut and then
layered onto a piece of the floral patterned paper from the Gather at
Home designer paper (Carta Bella).
The photo corner and side pieces of green plaid designer paper were hand cut from another pattern in the Gather at Home paper pad.
A piece of white crochet lace and pearls
were added to finish off the card.
