CAS- Last Two Cards for the Virtual Stamp Night Weekend!

Hi Stampers!!

Here are my final two cards created for the Splitcoaststampers Dog Days of Summer Virtual StampingNight #2 …I decided to make both of these cards, Clean and Simple (CAS) and will need to try the CAS style more often- I am starting to love it! :-)

  

The JUN13VSNL Who Let the Dogs Out is a Word Challenge- use items that spell DOG on your card- accessories, parts of the image, etc.

Ink the Dogwood stamp from the retired set, Nature’s Wonders for the (D) with Early Espresso Classic Ink and stamp onto Whisper White cardstock. 

 

Color the image with Stampin’ Write Markers- Old Olive (O), Pink Pirouette, Bashful Blue and Smoky Slate (using the AquaPainter™ with ink from the ink pad). 

Using Two-Way Glue, apply a few dots to the flower center and add Dazzling Diamonds Glitter (G and D).  Stamp the sentiment using Basic Gray Classic Ink to finish off the card. 

Stamp Sets:  Nature’s Wonder, Botanicals, Love & Sympathy

Ink: Basic Gray, Stampin’ Write Markers- Pink Pirouette, Old Olive, Bashful Blue

Paper: Whisper White

Accessories:  Dazzling Diamonds Glitter

The JUN13VSNP Challenge from Lydia was to create a Mirage.

Directly color the retired background stamp, Sweet Floral with Stampin’ Write markers in Marina Mist, Primrose Petals and Gumball Green.   

Stamp off twice and then mist with water, stamp again onto Whisper White cardstock.

Once dry, stamp the sentiment using Basic Gray and since there was a small smudge (oops!) I decided to add a bit of Basic Gray distressing with the Color Spritzer Tool and Stampin’ Write Basic Gray marker.

Ink: Basic Gray, Stampin’ Write Markers- Marina Mist, Primrose Petals, Gumball Green

Paper: Whisper White

Accessories:  Color Spritzer Tool
