Hi
Friends!
Today
I am sharing a card that I designed using two stamp sets from Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps- So Grateful and Tree Background.
I
am having fun playing with the 2017 Splitcoaststampers Falliday Fest Challenges and this card was created for the FF17StampmommaA “Abundant Blessings” Challenge.
I
also incorporated the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 #123 Challenge (flipped the sketch), the
Tic-Tac-Toe #019 Challenge (far right column - Autumn, Layers, Geometric Shapes), the Crop Stop October Challenge- Link Party #33 (thanks Esther for the comment and recommendation :-)) and the Word Art Wednesday #304-#305 “Anything Goes” Challenge.
If
you have not had a chance to visit the above challenge sites or the SNSS Blog/FB Page yet, I encourage you to do so- wonderful
inspiration from all!
To
create this card:
1).
Tap wild honey distress oxide ink onto a craft mat, lightly spritz with water
and press a piece of vanilla cardstock into the ink, lift up and dry with a
heat tool. Repeat the process with spiced marmalade oxide ink, then again with
worn lipstick oxide ink until you are satisfied with the ink coverage.
3).
Using the Big Shot™ with a pierced tag die, die cut the panel. Ink the sentiment from So Grateful with ground
espresso distress ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with the heat
tool. Mount onto a piece of espresso
cardstock and trim close to the edge.
4).
Trim a piece of vanilla cardstock to approx. 4” x 5 ¼”, emboss with a script
embossing folder and mount onto espresso cardstock.
5).
Trim pieces of designer series paper to approx.. 2 ¼” x 4 ¾”, mount onto
espresso cardstock, trim close to the edge.
Adhere to the embossed background panel (per the sketch- I flipped the
sketch over).
6).
Add the die cut focal image tag a bit to the right center of the card with
dimensional foam and adhere the polished hemp twine over the panel (wrapping
the ends behind the panel).
7).
Mount the layered card front panel to a piece of tangerine cardstock, trim and
mount onto the white card base.
8).
Add the polished hemp twine bow with the wood button (I used hot glue to adhere
to the card front). Add a few dew drops
with Nuvo™ Orange Marmalade Jewel Drops to finish off the card.
