This is
the second card I created using the Create with Connie and Mary CCMC370 ColorChallenge with the new Lighthearted Leaves stamp set.
I am also
linking this to the Simon Says Wednesday“Anything Goes” Challenge :-)
If you
have not had a chance to visit the above challenge sites yet, again, I would
encourage you to do so- gorgeous Design Team samples and as well as inspiration
from their galleries!
To create
this card:
Use Sponge
Daubers to apply Pool Party and Watermelon Wonder Classic Ink to a piece of
Whisper White cardstock.
Use the
Embossing Buddy® to de-static a sponged panel, ink the Lighthearted Leaves
images using Versamark™ Ink, stamp onto the panel, apply Stampin’ Emboss® Black
Embossing Powder and use the Heat Tool to heat set the powder.
Ink the
honeycomb image from Butterfly Basics with Pool Party Classic Ink randomly
stamp onto the background, add a few highlights with the Chalk Marker, trim the
panel and mount onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock.
Stamp the
sentiment using Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink onto a piece of Whisper White
cardstock, trim the panel and create the banner points with the Hexagon Punch, mount
onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock, trim again and repeat with the punch to
create the banner points.
Use the
Big Shot™ with the Woodgrain Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder to emboss a
piece of Pool Party cardstock, trim the panel, mount onto a piece of Basic
Black cardstock and add the stamped panel to the center.
Emboss a
piece of Watermelon Wonder cardstock using the Zig Zag Textured Impressions™
Embossing Folder, mount the focal image
panel, trim and mount onto the Basic Black card base.
Mount the
sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals® to finish off the card.

You've created another lovely creation with a whole different look from the previous card! I love the way you colored the leaves and incorporated the white element which really highlights them; this sketch and choice of stamp really work together so well! Thanks for joining us for the challenge this week at Create with Connie and Mary!
Now you are making this too hard! I don't know which one is my favorite! The color combo and leaf motif are the same but we've got an entirely different card. Love it! Thanks again for playing along this, week at Create with Connie and Mary!
