In All Things

Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing another fun fall card designed with the new Boho Pumpkins Bundle along with the Welcome Fall stamp set as well as paper and other supplies- all from Stamp Simply!

To create this card:

Emboss a piece of 4” x 5 ¼” white cardstock with the Lumber Sizzix 3D Texture Fades EmbossingFolder. Mount onto a piece of 4 ¼” x 5 ½” piece of black cardstock and adhere to a white card base.

I do not like to throw anything away, lol! So, I kept the little strips that I had to cut from the top of the Gather At Home 6x6 designer paper (the part that has the hanging hole included) and saved those in my stash.  I layered a few of these strips horizontally onto a piece of black cardstock and added that layer to the card front (FYI- I have been getting back into quilting lately, and this reminded me of a strip quilt design).

Trim a piece of the sage gingham patterned paper from the Carta Bella Gather At Home designer paper to 4” x 5 ¼”.  Cut on the diagonal and mount onto a piece of black cardstock, trimming close to the edge.

De-static a piece of white cardstock, ink the sentiment from Welcome Fall with Versafine Onyx Black ink, stamp onto the prepared cardstock, add clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

De-static a piece of heavy duty white cardstock with an embossing powder tool, ink the Boho Pumpkins image with Versafine Onyx Black ink, stamp onto the prepared cardstock, add clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Once the embossing has cooled, color the pumpkins with water-based markers and die cut with the coordinating die.

Once the embossing has cooled, die cut with the medium Fishtail Sentiments Banner die, mount onto black cardstock and trim close to the edge.

Add to the card front (using the die cut pumpkin from the step above to position on the card).

Adhere the pumpkin image with dimensional foam and finish off the card with a few black rhinestones.

I enjoy playing along with online challenges and have a personal goal to create one card for each of the Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenges (now at over 1,000 sketches).

I designed this card with the SC970 Sketch layout and will also be playing along with the Word Art Wednesday #663-#664 Anything Goes Challenge

Sunflower Seasons

Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing a quick fall card designed with the Sunflower Season Bundle and the Pastor & Ministry Appreciation Scripture stamp set along with lace, paper and other supplies- all from Stamp Simply!

To create this card:

Trim a piece of the Wood Textures 6x6 paper to approx. 4” x 5 ¼”.

De-static the
wood textures paper with an embossing powder tool, ink the sentiment from Pastor & Ministry Appreciation Scripture stamp set with Versafine Black Onyx ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Once the embossing powder has cooled, mount the panel onto a piece of chocolate cardstock, trim close to the edge.

Add a strip of Venise Lace and adhere a piece of the chocolate pleated ribbon (wrapping the ends of the ribbon behind the ends behind the panel).

Mount the entire panel onto a white card base.

Adhere a 1” x 5 ¼” strip of the wood texture designer paper to the inside of the card base (I like to do this to use up some of the scraps).

De-static a piece of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool, ink the sunflower image with Versafine Black Onyx ink, stamp onto the prepared cardstock, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Once the embossing has cooled, watercolor the flower image with water-based markers and distress inks.

Use the coordinating Sunflower Season die to die cut the sunflower (also die cut another image from white cardstock to layer behind the colored image).

Mount the sunflower image to the card front with dimensional foam.

Add a few bronze rhinestones to the upper right hand corner to finish off the card.

Stamp Simply August 2024 Release- Vintage Christmas

Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing another card designed with the brand new Vintage Christmas Images  bundle (part of the Vintage Christmas Release) along with other dies, lace, ribbon and supplies all from Stamp Simply!

To create this card:

Emboss a piece of white cardstock with the Intertwine Embossing Folder, trim the panel to approx. 4” x 5 ¼”, lightly distress the edges and mount onto a piece of espresso cardstock.

Cut a piece of the green tartan plain designer paper and mount onto a piece of espresso cardstock.

Layer onto the front of the card panel and mount the panel onto the white card base.

Add a scrap strip of the green tartan plaid to the inside of the card (on the left- this is how I like to use up some scraps).

Using the medium tag die, die cut a tag from the beige tartan plaid designer paper, layer onto espresso cardstock and trim close to the edge.

Layer a piece of white lace at the top of the tag, add the seam binding ribbon and wrap the ends behind the tag.

Loop an additional piece of the seam binding through the top of the tag.

De-static a piece of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool, ink the deer image and sentiment from the Vintage Christmas Images stamp set with Versafine Black Onyx ink, stamp onto the prepared white cardstock, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Die cut the sentiment with a rectangle die, mount onto a piece of espresso cardstock.

Adhere the rectangle sentiment adding scraps of the designer paper (I hand cut the photo corner from a small scrap).

Watercolor the deer image with distress inks and water-based markers.

Die cut the deer image with the coordinating die (die-cut two additional deer die cuts from white cardstock to layer behind the colored image).

Mount the deer image with dimensional foam and add the three bronze rhinestones in the corner of the sentiment panel to finish off the card.

I enjoy playing along with online challenges and will be linking this card to the Word Art Wednesday #661-#662 Anything Goes Challenge .

Stamp Simply August 2024 Release- Boho Pumpkins

Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing a card designed with the brand new Boho Pumpkins Bundle from the Boho Fall Release at Stamp Simply!

I am looking forward to the upcoming fall season and the new stamp sets in the Boho Fall Release are perfect for fall, Thanksgiving as well as year-round cards!

This card was fairly easy to create with a bit of layering and still fairly flat for mailing.

To create this card:

Using the Sizzix 3D Lumber Embossing Folder, emboss a piece of white cardstock, trim to approx. 4” x 5 ¼”, mount onto a piece of black cardstock, trim and mount onto a piece of sage cardstock.

Adhere the background panel to a white card base and add a strip of designer paper to the left hand side of the inside panel.

Trim a piece of the sage green checked pattern designer paper to approx. 3” x 3”, layer onto black cardstock and trim close to the edge.

Add the twine strips and bow (wrapping the ends behind the panel) before adhering to the card front.

De-static a piece of 4” x 5 ¼” white cardstock with an embossing powder tool, stamp the pumpkin image from Boho Pumpkins Bundle with Versafine Black Onyx ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Watercolor the pumpkin image with distress inks, watercolor pencils, and pastel pencils.

Once satisfied with the coloring, die cut the image with the coordinating Boho Pumpkins Bundle die (cutting an additional pumpkin image to layer behind the colored image for thickness).

De-static a piece of black cardstock with an embossing powder, ink the sentiment “Gather Together” with Versamark ink and stamp separately onto the prepared cardstock, apply white embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Die cut the sentiments with the Fishtail Sentiment Banners Die (trimming off a bit on the end as needed).

Adhere the “Gather” and “Together” sentiment directly to the card front.

To finish off the card, mount the layered pumpkin die cut to the card front with dimensional foam.

I enjoy playing along with online challenges and will be linking this card to the Just Add Ink #713 Choose Two (I used Heat Embossing and Dry Embossing), the Make My Monday #231 Colouring Mediums  (I used distress inks, watercolor pencils and pastel pencils) and the Word Art Wednesday #659-#660 “Anything Goes” Challenge.
