Hi Friends!
I am sharing a quick card designed using stamps, dies and designer paper
from Stamp Simply.
I wanted to create another card for The Card Concept #159 Colorful Fall Challenge (love this inspiration photo). I was inspired by the leaves as well as the purple for the Clean and Simple card.
I am also participating in the CASOLOGY #395 “One” Challenge along with the Word Art Wednesday #509-#510 “Anything Goes” Challenge.
If you have not had a chance to visit the Stamp
Simply blog or the other
challenge sites yet, I encourage you to do so- wonderful inspiration from all!
To create this card:
For the background panel, trim a piece of dark purple cardstock to 4 ¼” x
5 ½”.
De-static the lower right hand corner with an embossing powder tool, ink
the sentiment from Give
Thanks , apply gold embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.
Trim a strip of the Craft Consortium Ink Drops
6x6- Vivid, trim to 4”, mount onto a piece of lilac cardstock and adhere to the
card front. I love this paper pad- the "faux" alcohol drops look so real, don't they? Plus, no mess :-)
Adhere the pearlescent gold die cut leaf to finish off the card.
Stamp Sets: Give Thanks (Stamp Simply)
Ink/Mediums: Versamark
Cardstock/Paper: Elegant Eggplant, Lovely Lilac; Craft Consortium Ink Drops 6x6- Vivid, Luxury
Pearlescent Metallic Cardstock #105- Gold 15 ct
Accessories/Tools: Gemini, Jr., Sizzix Thinlit Dies by Tim
Holtz Skeleton Leaves, Embossing Powder
Tool, Extra Fine Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Tool
Thanks again for taking the time to visit! I hope I have inspired you to be creative this week- we would love to have you join us at The Card Concept!
