Hi Friends!
It’s time for the #168 {Love is in the Air} Challenge at The Card Concept!
What a beautiful wreath! I was inspired by the colors, the heart, the flowers and the white background to create a Clean and Layered/ Classy and Elegant card using some of my older Stampin’ Up! cardstock, dies and ribbon.
I will most likely use this card as a Wedding card or Anniversary- the sentiment can work for both occasions.
I
am also participating with the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge (top row across- Pink-
Ribbon or Twine- Any Shape Die Cut and also the far left column down- Pink- Love
or Valentine- White) along with the Simon Monday “Use An Embossing Folder”Challenge.
This card was simple to create:
Emboss
a piece of Pretty in Pink cardstock with the Script Embossing Folder, trim and
mount onto a piece of Pink Passion cardstock.
Die cut the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits on Whisper White cardstock, trim the panel and mount onto the pink embossed background panel. Insert the heart portion of the die back into the opening.
Die
cut a few of the flowers from Whisper White cardstock and adhere to the card
front. Add the light pink pearls to the
flower centers.
Adhere
the white crochet lace onto the lower edge of the pink embossing panel and add
a strip of 1” green satin ribbon over the top part of the lace (wrap the ends
behind the panel).
Layer
a piece of pink organza ribbon over the green ribbon, wrap the ends of both
behind the panel.
De-static
a piece of Whisper White cardstock with an embossing powder tool, stamp the
sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat
set with a heat tool.
Once
the embossing cools, die cut the sentiment with the medium oval die, die cut
another oval to layer behind the sentiment.
Adhere
the sentiment to the card front with dimensional foam (lifting the bottom of
the heart to layer over the sentiment) and add the pink organza bow to finish
off the card.

This is gorgeous, Julie! I still have this set of sentiments too, and use it for every wedding card I make! So happy that you used my Tic Tac Toe grid as well! The heart and scallops are so feminine and pretty! Thanks for playing!
Julie, I love the pink of this gorgeous card!
