Hi Friends!!
I am sharing another
card that was designed using the retired Stampin’ Up! set, Snow
Much Fun along with a sentiment from A True Friend (currently available from Divinity
Designs LLC).
This is a second Clean and Layered card design for The Card Concept #129 {Warm Winter Wishes} Challenge. I was inspired by the snowmen images, the wood sign as well as the colors of the pine branches.
I also used the
Splitcoastampers SC783 Sketch Challenge for the layout (still trying to create a card for each of their over 700 sketches and am so thrilled that do not end their challenges :-)) and am playing along with the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog #129 “Anything Goes” Challenge (both stamp sets are several years old).
To create this card:
De-static a piece of
white cardstock with an embossing powder tool, stamp the snowman image with Versafine™ Onyx Black Ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with
a heat tool.
Watercolor the snowman
with water-based markers and trim the panel.
Mount onto black cardstock, trim close to the edge.
Emboss a piece of
white cardstock with a snowflake embossing folder, trim and mount onto black cardstock,
trim and mount onto the white card base.
Layer a piece of
designer paper with black cardstock, trim close to the edge and adhere to the
card front. Add the layered snowman image
with dimensional foam.
Ink the sentiment
with Versafine™ Onyx Black Ink, apply
clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool. Once cooled, die cut with a circle die, mount
onto another circle die cut from black cardstock (using a stitched circle die) and
adhere to the card front with dimensional foam.
Add a few rhinestones
to finish off the card.
