For the first card, I chose a Clean and Simple (CAS) design using the the Hand Stamped Sentiments HSSCC226 Color Challenge along with the Splitcoaststampers' SC569 Sketch.
A very easy card with a bit of Gold Embossing and Gold Cord Trim (I have more detailed instructions on the SNSS Blog Post here).
Quick and easy- perfect for this time of year (FYI- most of my time was spent trying to get the Gold Trim to stay attached to the back of the card :-))
The second card uses the same colors from the Hand Stamped Sentiments HSSCC226 Color Challenge along with the Mojo Monday Mojo 427 Sketch Challenge.
Again, heat embossing with a bit of Gold Vellum and a bit more layering was used for this card.

So which one do you prefer? I enjoy creating more intricately layered
