Stampers!!
This
card was created using the Stampin’ Royalty’s SR244 Black and White with a Popof Color Challenge along with The Paper Players PP212 Happy Fall Y'All Theme Challenge and the WT495 Autumn Leaves Challenge at Splitcooaststampers.
I
decided to take a break from the shabby chic/vintage style that I tend to
gravitate towards and create a Clean and Simple (CAS) card using some newer
stamps as well as some of my favorite retired sets :-)
I
hope you will have a chance to visit the challenge sites- fantastic Design Team samples
and great inspiration from all!
To
create this card:
Ink
the leave stamp from the retired set Botanicals using Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink
onto Whisper White cardstock and also stamp onto a piece of scrap paper or
sticky note to create a mask.
Mask
the leave and stamp the script stamp from the retired set Botanicals using Memento™
Tuxedo Black Ink over the leave image.
Color
the leave using the Stampin’ Blendabilities™ Pumpkin Pie Collection and create
shadows using the Sahara Sand Stampin’ Write marker.
Re-mask
the leaf, ink the splatter stamps from Gorgeous Grunge using Memento™ Tuxedo
Black Ink and stamp off onto scrap paper before stamping onto the image.
Stamp
the sentiment using Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink onto Whisper White cardstock,
trim and create the banner points using the Hexagon Punch.
Mount
the leaf panel onto the Basic Black card base and add the Black Hemp Twine bow
onto the card front (I used Hot Glue but Mini Glue Dots™ would work as well).
Add
the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals® to finish off the card.
