Our Daily Bread Designs November 2016 Special Release

Hi Friends! 

Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs November 2016 Special Holiday Release!  Christmas is only a little over a month away, there is still time to create quick Christmas cards for your friends and family!

I know that you will not want to miss out on the fabulous inspiration from the rest of the Breadbaskets and we would love to have you hop along with us- please see more details below...

My first card features the new ODBD Christmas Ornament Clear Stamp Set along with the new coordinating ODBD Christmas Ornament Die and ODBD Holly Jolly Christmas Collection 6x6 Paper Pad as well as the previously released ODBD Bitty Borders Dies, ODBD Lovely Leaves Dies, ODBD Mini Bow Die and the snowflake from the ODBD Beverage Cup Dies (used as a stencil).

My second card features the new ODBD Christmas Ornament Clear Stamp Set along with the ODBD Christmas Ornament Die, ODBD Snowflake Sky Die and ODBD Mini Bow Die.

Hi Friends!

Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs November 2016 Release Blog Hop!! Christmas is almost here and I just love all of the stamp sets and dies in this new release.

I know that you will not want to miss the inspiration from the rest of the ODBD “Breadsticks”Design Team and we would love to have you hop along with us- see more details below...

My first card features the new ODBD Jingle Bell Time stamp set along with the new ODBD Snowflake Season Collection 6x6 Paper Pad and previously released ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies and ODBD Lavish Layers Dies.

I absolutely love this Jingle Bell Time image- so much fun to color!  I used water-based markers to watercolor the image and background- added a bit of layering for a quick and easy card!

My second card features the new ODBD Snowflake Sky Die, ODBD Snow Crystals Dies along with the previously released ODBD Noel Border Die.

To create the background, I inked the ODBD Snowflake Sky Die with raspberry distress ink, stamped onto white cardstock and spritzed with water.  

Once the panel was dry, I decided that the image was not defined enough so I die cut and embossed the ODBD Snowflake Sky Die from white and raspberry cardstock, layered over the stamped background and added the raspberry ODBD Noel Border Die along with the ODBD Snow Crystals Dies plus a bit of shimmer and rhinestones to finish off the card.

Pre-Order November 2016 Snowflake Dies Bundle

I am sharing a quick card using the dies from the new ODBD Snowflake Dies Bundle along with the ODBD Noel Border Die (from the ODBD October 2016 Release)  :-)

To create this card:

Die cut and emboss the following pieces from silver foil paper:

1). ODBD Snowflake Sky Die

2). ODBD Snow Crystals Dies (a few small snowflakes as well as larger one)

3). ODBD Noel Border Die

Die cut and emboss the following pieces from white cardstock:

1). ODBD Noel Border Die

2). ODBD Snow Crystals Dies (a medium snowflake) ** Confession time- this was not in my original plan but some adhesive could not be removed from the silver foil border of the ODBD Snowflake Sky Die cut, so this snowflake was added to cover it up- now you know the rest of the story- lol! **

To assemble the card:

Adhere the die cut ODBD Snowflake Sky Dies to a piece of white cardstock, add the gray triple ribbon satin bow (wrapping the ends of the ribbon behind the panel) and mount the panel onto the gray card base.

Layer the silver foil ODBD Noel Border Die cut onto the white ODBD Noel Border Die cut, trim the long end and mount onto the card front.

Add the various ODBD Snow Crystals Die cuts to the card front (use dimensional foam for the large snowflake in the center) and adhere rhinestones to the snowflake centers.

Add the rhinestone embellishment to the ribbon bow along with the larger snowflake to finish off the card.

Quick and easy, perfect for creating multiple Christmas cards!
