Here
is the final card that I designed Friday evening using the Create with Connie and Mary CCMC335 Thursday Sketch Challenge along with the Splitcoaststampers’ CC518 Color Challenge (see details here and gallery here).
Again,
if you have not already done so, I hope you will find the time to visit the
above challenge sites to check out the wonderful Design Team samples as well as
the inspiration from their galleries!
To create
this card:
Using Baked
Brown Sugar Classic Ink, stamp the giraffe image from Zoo Babies onto Whisper
White cardstock.
Use the
Big Shot™ with the Ovals Collections Framelits™ to cut out the image along with
another oval from Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock.
Cut the
Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock oval in half and layer behind the giraffe image.
Use the
Big Shot™ to emboss a piece of Whisper White cardstock with the Alphabet Press Textured
Impressions™ Embossing Folder, trim the panel and mount onto a piece of Crisp
Cantaloupe cardstock, trim again and
mount onto the Coastal Cabana card base.
Use the 1”
Square Punch to punch out the pieces from Lullaby Designer Series Paper (DSP)
and alternately mount onto a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock.
Trim the paper
pieced panel, mount onto the card front and add the oval focal image using
Stampin’ Dimensionals®.
Create
the paper bow from Coastal Cabana cardstock using the Bow Builder Punch and
mount the bow to the card front.
Stamp the
sentiment using Coastal Cabana Classic Ink onto Whisper White cardstock, punch
out using the Word Window Punch and punch another Word Window shape using Crisp
Cantaloupe cardstock.
Split the
Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock Word Window piece in half and mount behind the
sentiment.
Add to
the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals® and add the Pearls to finish off
the card.
