I
had a chance to create a few cards this weekend using the Faith Quote Blocks Clear Stamp Set (designed by NinaB Designs) available from Sweet ‘n SassyStamps.
This
is the first card of two that I used the Freshly Made Sketches #306 Sketch Challenge
for the layout and I am also participating with the Double D “Sentiments/Quotes” Challenge and the Word Art Wednesday #300-#301 “Anything Goes” Challenge for
this design.
If
you have not had a chance to visit the above challenge sites or the SNSS Blog/FB Page yet, I encourage you to do so- gorgeous
inspiration from all!
To
create this card:
1).
Ink the Psalm 34:8 image from Faith Quote Blocks with Versafine™ Onyx Black Ink,
stamp onto a piece of green designer paper, apply clear embossing powder and
heat set with a heat tool. Once the
embossing has cooled, trim the panel and mount onto a piece of espresso cardstock.
2).
Trim the vertical panels of the sketch from coordinating pieces of designer
paper, mount onto espresso cardstock and trim close to the edge.
3).
Emboss a piece of sahara cardstock, trim the panel, mount onto espresso
cardstock and adhere to a white card base.
Add the vertical layered panels and mount the sentiment with dimensional
foam.
4).
Finish off with the polished hemp twine bow and wooden button,
