Hi Again Stampers!!
This is the second card that I created using the wonderful SR199 Stampin' Royalty Inspiration Photo (I have created six cards based off this photo using scraps and pre-printed images- if interested, more details are on the first post here).
This card was also inspired by the CAS242 Clean and Simple (CAS) Challenge at Splitcoaststampers to create a card featuring pets or holiday pets- if you cannot tell already, I love cats and recently found a few cat dies that I was just "dying" to use - lol!!
I hope you will take the time to visit both sites- great inspiration and projects!!
To
create this card:
Using
the Big Shot™ emboss a piece of Very Vanilla
cardstock with the retired Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder
and adhere the Basic Black card base.
Create the focal panel using My Digital Studio (MDS) and stamp
brush set images from Hello, Lovely and Word Play - print two of the square
motifs onto Very Vanilla cardstock and punch out with the 1 ¼” Square Punch.
Cut the banner points on the end of the sentiment by hand or you could use
a square or hexagon punch.
Adhere the two Hello, Lovely squares to a 2 ½” square piece of
Basic Black cardstock.
Mount the Polka Dot background paper (retired years ago) onto two
scrap strips of Basic Black cardstock (this is a way to save on postage and
cardstock- no one is the wiser, until now- lol!).
Add to the Basic Black card base along with
the White Tea Lace Paper Doily (FYI- I sponged
Very Vanilla Craft Ink onto the Doily before adhering to the background panel).
Add the sentiment banner using Stampin’ Dimensionals® along with the Pearls and the die cut kitty to finish off the card.
