Hi Stampers!
The SUO Challenges SUO81 Challenge is to “Make Something Masculine” so I decided to pull out one of my favorite new
stamp sets, Walk in the Wild and incorporated a few other challenges- colors
from the FabFri28 Challenge and “fussy-cutting/tearing” from The Friday Mash-UpFM130 Challenge. .
Using Sponge Daubers with Old Olive, Tangerine Tango and Rich
Raspberry Classic Ink to ink up the bold leaf stamp from Gently Falling and
stamp onto Whisper White cardstock.
Carefully cut out each leaf and place each leaf onto a piece of
scrap paper to sponge additional ink as needed onto the leaf. Use the Chalk Marker to create the veins and
gently roll the edge of the leaves to give a realistic appearance.
Using Whisper White Craft Ink, repeatedly stamp the script stamp
from Notable Notions along with Off the Grid and Gorgeous Grunge onto Basic
Black cardstock.
Add the layer of Season of Style Washi Tape along with the torn Whisper
White paper (embossed with the Big Shot™ and Woodgrain Textured Impressions™
Embossing Folder). Mount this entire
panel onto Whisper White cardstock and again onto a Basic Black card base.
Use the Big Shot™ with the Chalk Talk Framelits™ to cut a frame
from Basic Black and Whisper White. De-static
the Basic Black tag with the Embossing Buddy® and stamp the Off the Grid
background stamp using Versamark®ink, apply Stampin’ Write White Embossing
Powder and heat with the Heat Gun.
Do the same steps as above with the sentiment from Wetlands and
once cooled, add the Whisper White embossed/torn layer (this was from my scrap
bag and already had the curve from a punched out area on another card).
Add the leaves to the background with Mini Glue Dots, add the
Chalk Talk frame using Stampin’ Dimensionals® and add the additional
leaves.
Stamp the pheasant from Walk in the Wild using Early Espresso
Classic Ink and color using the AquaPainter™ with ink from the Tangerine Tango,
Old Olive and Rich Razzleberru Classic ink pads as well as the Stampin’ Write
markers in the same colors.
Carefully “fussy-cut” the pheasant and grass image and add to the
tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals® . Adhere
three Tangerine Tango Candy Dots to finish off the card.

Wild, Wetlands, Gently Falling, Off the Grid, Notable Notions, Gorgeous Grunge
