Floral Birthday- A Soft Color Combo

Hi Stampers!

I decided to create a card using the CC429 Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge  (Sahara Sand, Soft Sky and Pink Pirouette) and even included the dessert (butterflies) :-).  If you have a chance, check out the gallery and come play along!

To create this card:

Use the Big Shot™ to cut a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock using the Adorning Accents Edgelit™ and emboss the edge with the Adorning Accents Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder.  Insert the cardstock so only the upper portion is in the Mosaic Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder and once embossed, sponge Sahara Sand ink over the embossing.

Using the Big Shot™ with the Large Scallop Edgelit™ to cut two pieces of Soft Sky cardstock and emboss using the Delicate Designs (Lace) Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder.

Stamp the image from Best of Flowers using Early Espresso Classic Ink and color with the Stampin’ Write markers in Pink Pirouette, Soft Sly and Sahara Sand.  Highlight using the White Gel Pen.

Emboss this image using the Big Shot™ and the Oval Designer Frames Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder- carefully cut around the embossing and lightly sponge Sahara Sand Classic Ink over the embossing and image to distress the paper a bit.

Layer the embossed pieces together- add the ribbon, sentiment and butterflies along with the Pearls to finish off the card.

Stamp Sets: Best of Flowers, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Papillon Potpourri

Ink: Early Espresso, Stampin’ Write Markers- Pink Pirouette, Sahara Sand, Soft Sky

Paper/Cardstock:  Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Sahara Sand, Soft Sky
