Blessings and Prosperity

Hi Friends!

This week at the Stamp Simply blog, the Stamp Simply Design Team have been sharing their choice of a variety of card styles and images.

If you have not had a chance to check out my Sister DT cards yet, I hope you will do so- gorgeous inspiration from all!

I love vintage style cards and especially Graphic 45 papers!  I am sharing a very easy  card using the Fruit of the Spirit stamp set  along with the Graphic 45 Fruit & Flora 8x8 paper pad along with other lace, ribbon and accessories.

This card was fairly quick to create:

Trim the Graphic 45 Fruit & Flora 8x8 paper for the background and adhere to purple cardstock.

Add the deep purple designer paper along with the flat peach lace and purple seam binding (wrapping the ends of the ribbon behind the panel).

Mount the entire background panel onto a white card base.

Adhere the
cut-a-part with the peach image onto purple cardstock and adhere to the card front with dimensional foam.

De-static another piece of the Graphic 45 designer paper with an embossing powder tool, ink the verse sentiment from Fruit of the Spirit with Versafine Black Onyx ink, stamp onto the prepared paper, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Mount the embossed sentiment onto a piece of purple cardstock and add the photo corners (I cut these by hand from small squares of purple cardstock).

Add the sentiment to the card front with dimensional foam and adhere a few pearls to finish off the card.

As many of you who follow my blog know, I enjoy playing along with online challenges and am linking my card to the A Place to Start July 2023 Anything Goes Challenge.

Wreath Anniversary Cards

Hi Friends!

This week at the Stamp Simply blog, the Stamp Simply Design Team have been sharing cards featuring wreaths.

If you have not had a chance to check out my Sister DT cards yet, I hope you will do so- wonderful inspiration from all!

I am not sure if you have a stash of cards but I like to keep cards on hand to mail out whenever there is a need, especially ones with Scripture on the front.

I am low on Anniversary cards, so I decided to pull out the Seasonal Wreaths- Spring/Summer Bundle, Love stamp set and pair them with the Kaisercraft Two Souls 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad along with some lace (all from Stamp Simply).

I am in the process of finishing up fourteen cards and still have more than half of the paper pack left!

Today I am sharing two of the cards that used ½ sheet of the designer paper that had two printed circles with leaves that I split in half to make two cards.

This pack of paper is on sale and has several metallic sheets along with pre-printed tags, sentiments and other elements (printed lace, etc. )

A great pack of paper to have in your stash for Anniversary, Wedding, Valentine’s Day, Friendship cards.

Both cards were fairly quick and easy-

For both cards:

De-static the piece of designer paper with an embossing powder tool, ink the wreath image from the Seasonal Wreaths-Spring/Summer stamp set with Versamark ink, stamp onto the prepared paper, apply pewter embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

De-static the center of the wreath area and ink the sentiment from the Love stamp set with Versamark, heat set with pewter embossing powder.

Repeat the same steps above on a piece of white cardstock using the spring floral image from the Seasonal Wreaths- Spring, Summer and die cut with the coordinating die.

Mount the spring floral wreath image onto the designer paper using dimensional foam.

Distress the edges of the designer paper and adhere to a piece of grey cardstock, distressing the edges of the frame as well.

To complete the first card, trim the leaf print, gray roses and green pieces of the Two Souls designer paper, distress the edges and adhere to white cardstock (approx. 4” x 5 ¼”) before adhering to the gray card base.

Add the pleated white lace (from the May Arts Vintage Sampler- On Fire with Orange & Yellow), add a grey strip of distressed designer paper to the center and mount onto the card front.

Add the wreath focal image to the card front with dimensional foam.

To complete the second card, trim a pieces from the Two Souls designer paper- the gray polka-dot paper on an angle and pair it with the silver heart designer paper, distress the edges and add to a piece of gray cardstock.

Add a piece of flat white lace (from the May Arts Vintage Sampler- Pink & White with Rosettes Bundle) and mount the focal wreath image with dimensional foam to finish off the card.

As many of you who follow my blog know, I enjoy playing along with online challenges and am linking my card to the Word Art Wednesday #605-#606 “Anything Goes” Challenge.

Love the Lord Your God

Hi Friends!

This week at the Stamp Simply blog, the Stamp Simply Design Team have been sharing cards to replenish their stash.  I am not sure if you have a stash of cards, but I like to keep cards on hand to mail out whenever there is a need, especially ones with Scripture on the front.

If you have not had a chance to check out my Sister DT cards yet, I hope you will do so- wonderful inspiration from all!

Fall is on the horizon here on the East Coast of the US, so I decided to pull out the Floral Cluster- Fall Flowers and Love stamp sets and paired them with a scrap piece of designer paper and scrap piece of lace, all from Stamp Simply!

This card was fairly quick and easy to create:

De-static a piece of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool, ink the verse sentiment from the Love stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black, stamp onto the prepared cardstock, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Add the strip of Welcome Autumn designer paper and adhere a strip of the White 1 ½” Raschel Lace onto the edge of the designer paper.  FYI- I like how this lace has a satin embroidered center with the lace on both sides, perfect for finishing off the raw edge of the strip of designer paper.

Mount the entire panel to a white card base.

Ink the sunflower cluster image from the Floral Cluster- Fall Flowers stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder (as in the step above for the sentiment).

Once the embossing has cooled, color the image with water-based markers.

Die cut the floral image with the coordinating die from the Floral Cluster and Sprigs die.

Also cut two additional floral shapes from white cardstock to layer behind the colored image (FYI- this will make the floral image thicker almost like chipboard).  Adhere to the card front with dimensional foam.

Finish off the card with split pea rhinestones.

As many of you who follow my blog know, I enjoy playing along with online challenges and am linking my card to the Word Art Wednesday #603-#604 “Anything Goes” Challenge.
