Proverbs 3:5 Trust In The Lord

Hi Stampers!

I had a chance to create a card this evening and decided to participate in the ODBDSLC223 Inspiration Challenge along with the FMS170 Sketch Challenge and the Splitcoaststampers CAS308 New Year's Resolution (this Designer Paper and stamp set had not seen any "love" yet and I have had them for a year).

In addition to following the sketch, I was inspired by the roses along with the pinks and soft green in the gorgeous Our Daily Bread Designs (ODBD) Challenge photo :-)

This verse has always been one of my favorites and I am putting my trust in Him and looking forward to seeing how the Lord directs my path...

I hope you will have a chance to visit and check out all of the wonderful Design projects and other entries at all three sites!

To create this card:

Trim the pieces of the Heart and Soul Collection Designer Paper (Our Daily Bread Designs- ODBD) and mount onto Whisper White cardstock.  Trim again and mount onto Early Espresso cardstock, add the strip of 5/8” White Organza Ribbon and mount onto the Whisper White card base.

Use the Big Shot™ with the Ornate Hearts Die (ODBD) and cut the open heart from Early Espresso cardstock.

Create the rolled flower from Pretty in Pink cardstock using the 1 ¾” Scallop Circle Punch (punch the scallop circle, hand cut a wavy spiral from the outside of the scallop circle toward the center, use the retired Crimper Tool to distress a bit, roll up from the outside edge and adhere using Tombow Multi-Purpose Adhesive or a Hot Glue Gun).
Punch out the leaves from Mellow Moss cardstock using the Bird Builder Punch, adhere the leaves behind the rolled flowers and add to the center of the heart (again, I used a Hot Glue Gun since I had it on my desk and ready to go).
Adhere the heart to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals®.
Ink the sentiment using Early Espresso Classic Ink and adhere to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals® to finish off the card.

 Stamp Sets: Clean Heart (ODBD)
Ink: Early Espresso
Paper/Cardstock:  Whisper White, Early Espresso, Heart and Soul Collection (ODBD)
Accessories: Big Shot™, Ornate Hearts Die (ODBD), 5/8” White Organza Ribbon, Punches- 1 ¾” Scallop Circle, Bird Builder

Thanks again for stopping by- I hope you have a great weekend!!

Julie, this Mixed Media background is AMAZING (as is the rest of the card). I would love to see you do some videos and I'm sure many of your fans would too! :-)
