FMS136 Thank You- More Fun with Blendabilities

Hi Stampers!

Here is another card that I created last night using the FMS136 Freshly Made Sketches Challenge and the PP195 Paper Players Color Challenge

Since I already had the images printed from My Digital Studio, I decided to use the new Stampin’ Blendabilities™ along with traditional card making techniques for this card as well (in fact, last night all six cards were created using MDS images, Blendabilities™ and traditional card making techniques).

I hope you have a chance to check out both sites to see their wonderful Design Team projects as well as the other entries!!

To create this card:

Open a blank document in My Digital Studio (MDS), position the Lovely As A Tree branch image (enlarged a bit) and print onto an 8 ½ x 11” piece of Whisper White cardstock.

Color the leaves using the Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive Blendabilities™ Collection markers, use the Sahara Sand Stampin’ Write marker to create shadows and the Baked Brown Sugar Stampin’ Write marker to color the acorn.

Cut the image out using the Big Shot™ with the Circle Collections Framelits™, cutting another circle from Calypso Coral cardstock.  Hand cut the Calypso Coral  circle in half and adhere the main image to the frame.

Use the Big Shot™ with the Square Lattice Impressions™ Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Pear Pizzazz Designer Series Paper (DSP) and adhere to a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock.

Use the Big Shot™ with the Woodgrain Impressions™ Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of So Saffron cardstock and adhere to the Calypso Coral card base.

Add the Pear Pizzazz embossed panel and add the Burlap Ribbon pieces to the card front for the lower horizontal panel on the sketch (I cut the edges off the Burlap Ribbon and took pulled the ribbon apart to use the individual strands).   Add the embossed Calypso Coral layer (embossed with the Woodgrain folder and the banner points were created with the Hexagon Punch).

Add the focal image using Stampin’ Dimensionals®, adhere the sentiment and button to finish off the card.

Stamp Sets: Lovely As A Tree (MDS version), Short & Sweet

Ink: Printer Ink- Black, Stampin’ Blendabilities™- Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive Collections; Baked Brown Sugar and Sahara Sand Stampin’ Write Markers

Paper: Whisper White, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Old Olive DSP

Accessories: Big Shot™,  Woodgrain and Square Lattice Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folders, Circle Collection Framelits™, Hexagon and Word Window Punch, Burlap Ribbon, Brights Collection button

Thanks again for visiting- I still have two more cards to share from my stamping fun last night!!

Absolutely beautiful Julie! Your colouring is perfect (I can't wait to get those blend abilities in Australia!) and your leaves look so real! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
