Count Your Blessings- A One Layer "Strip Down" and Color Challenge

Hi Stampers!

This card was created using just one layer for the One Layer Simplicity OLS19 “Strip Down”Challenge along with the CAS Colours & Sketches #138 Challenge.

As you may know, one layer or Clean and Simple cards are the toughest for me- by participating in the challenges, it forces me to "get outside of my box"- lol!!

If you have not had a chance to visit the above challenge sites yet, again, I would encourage you to do so- wonderful inspiration from all!

This card was very simple to create:

Masking the strip on the cardstock, sponging Marina Mist Classic Ink for the background, stamping the postage cancellation stamp using Cajun Craze Classic Ink and the script stamp with Marina Mist Classic Ink, use the Embossing Buddy® to de-static the cardstock, stamping the leaves using Versamark® Ink, embossing  with White Stampin’ Emboss® Embossing Powder, sponging Always Artichoke and Cajun Craze onto the leaves and finishing off with the sentiment using Cajun Craze Classic Ink.

Another view of the "strip" :-)
Quick, easy and only one layer!!

Stamp Sets:  French Foliage, Gratitude for Days

Ink: Versamark™, Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze, Marina Mist

Paper/Cardstock:  Naturals White

Accessories:  Embossing Buddy®, Stampin’ Emboss® White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Sponge Dauber, Sticky Paper for Masking

Thanks again for taking the time to visit- I count all of you as one of my many blessings!!  Your visits and comments are truly an encouragement to me- hugs and God Bless!

Julie, this Autumn card is so strikingly, elegantly gorgeous, I can't believe it's only one layer. Stupendous job.
