Quick and Easy Christmas Cards

Hi Friends!

This week we are focusing on Christmas and my Design Team sisters have created the most beautiful cards.  I hope you have a chance to check them out at the Stamp Simply blog!

Today I am sharing a couple of quick cards using the Studio Light Sending Joy 6x6 paper pad along with the Wonder of Christmas Sentiments stamp set, Christmas Stockings & Mittens steel die set and some twine.

With the Studio Light Sending Joy 6x6 paper pad, the Wonder of Christmas Sentiments stamp set and Christmas Stocking & Mittens steel die set, you can create over 40 cards very easily!

As many of you who follow my blog know, I enjoy playing along with online challenges,  so I will be linking this card to the Word Art Wednesday #621-#622 “Anything Goes” Challenge.

If you have not had a chance to check out my Sister DT cards yet, or the Word Art Wednesday Challenge site, I hope you will do so- wonderful inspiration from all!

To create this card:

Trim two pieces of the Studio Light Sending Joy 6x6 paper to 4”x 5 ¼” and distress the edges with a distressing tool.

De-static the panels with an embossing powder tool, ink the sentiments with Versafine Onyx Black, stamp directly onto the designer paper, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Adhere the panels to black cardstock (4 ⅛” x 5 ⅜”) and trim close to the edges.

For the wreath card, stamp the Faith Hope Love sentiment with Versamark ink, apply white embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Carefully cut the three words apart and adhere to the card panels using dimensional foam.

Mount the wreath card to a piece of cherry cardstock and adhere the entire panel onto a white card base.

For the stocking card- die cut the stocking from cherry and white cardstock with the Christmas Stocking & Mittens die.

Loop a piece of black and white bakers twine through the stocking hoop and adhere to the back of the card panel.

Mount the stocking onto the card panel with dimensional foam.

Mount the entire panel onto a white card base to finish off the card.
