For You- Two Challenges in One!

Hi Stampers!
This card was created for the Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge  #CCMC125 (http://www.createwithconnieandmary.com) using the colors from this week’s ColourQ Challenge #CQC60 (http://colourq.blogspot.com/).  The Design Team projects and submissions for both challenges are gorgeous- when you get a chance, stop by and check out all of the inspiration:-)

I decided to use the Hostess Level II set- Fast and Fabulous along with the 2-Step Stamping along with the Rock-n-Roll Technique.

To create this card:

Using the medium solid floral image from Fast and Fabulous, ink the stamp in More Mustard and roll the edges in Cherry Cobbler- stamp this onto Very Vanilla.  Continue to re-ink, roll in More Mustard and Cherry Cobbler randomly stamping multiple flowers all over the cardstock.  Ink the outline stamp that matches the floral image in Early Espresso and stamp over the inked floral images lining up with the previously stamped flowers.

Ink the En Francais background stamp in Early Espresso and stamp over the entire image.  Sponge the edges with Early Espresso and gently spray Frost White Shimmer Paint over the entire layer- the photo does not show how shimmery the card is in real life:-).  Punch the edge of a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with the Scallop Trim Border Punch and layer the floral panel onto Early Espresso and then onto the Very Vanilla layer.

Run a piece of Soft Suede through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper EF, layer the 5/8” Early Espresso Satin Ribbon over the embossed panel.  Attach the main floral panel over the ribbon.

Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso onto Very Vanilla and use the Curly Label XL Punch.  Layer onto a piece punched from the Curly Label XL Punch from Early Espresso and layer this onto a piece of Very Vanilla punched with the Decorative XL Label Punch.

Finish off with a Victoria 5/8” Crochet Trim Bow, Vintage Brad and Pearls.

Stamp Sets:  Fast and Fabulous (Hostess Level II), En Francais, Elements of Style
Cardstock:  Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, More Mustard
Accessories: Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper EF, Frost White Shimmer Paint, Sponge Dauber, Curly Label XL and Decorative XL Label Punch, Victoria Crochet 5/8” Trim, Vintage Brad, 5/8” Early Espresso Satin Ribbon, Pearls

Thanks again for visiting- have a blessed Thanksgiving!

This is absolutely stunning! I saw it on SCS and had to take a closer look. I'm on an internet diet and only allow myself to browse ONE CARD a day, and this was the one that caught my eye. I can't wait to surprise someone special with this one. Thanks so much for posting!
