Hello Friend

Hi Stampers!

I had a chance to stamp this evening and decided to participate in the Pals Paper Arts PPA317 Color Challenge along with the sketch from the FUSION “New Look” 09/08 Challenge.

As soon as I saw this color combination, I thought of the retired Stampin' Up! Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper (yes, I still have some of this paper on hand) and decided to use it in the design of this card :-)

If you have not had a chance to visit any of the above challenge sites, I hope you will do so- fabulous Design Teams samples and entries from all!

To create this card:

Trim a piece of Whisper White cardstock and use a Clarity Stencil Brush to apply Ripe Persimmon Distress Ink over the Memory Box Pattern Heartwood Stencil.

Trim the panel, mount onto Tangerine Tango cardstock, trim again and mount onto a piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock, trim and adhere to the white card base.

Ink the floral image from Butterfly Basics using Stampin’ Archival™ Basic Black ink and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock, re-ink and stamp onto a piece of sticky note paper, heat set both images with the Heat Tool.

Use the Big Shot™ with the MFT Stitched Horizontal Strip Dies to cut a piece of the retired Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper (DSP), mount onto a piece of Tangerine Tango cardstock, trim and mount onto a piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock.

Adhere the crochet lace behind the panel and mount the panel onto the card front with dimensional foam.

Stamp the sentiment from the Mama Elephant Sunday Sentiments stamp set with Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock, trim the panel and create the banner points with the retired Hexagon Punch.

Layer the sentiment onto Rich Razzleberry cardstock, trim, use the Hexagon Punch again to create the banner and mount onto the card front.

Create the rolled flowers with the retired MFT Royal Rose Dies from Rich Razzleberry and Tangerine cardstock.

Add the flowers to the card along with leaves punched from Wild Wasabi cardstock to finish off the card.

Stamp Sets: Sunday Sentiments (Mama Elephant)

Ink: Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink; Ripe Persimmon Distress Ink

Paper/Cardstock:  Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango; retired Razzleberry Lemonade DSP

Accessories: Big Shot™, MFT Stitched Horizontal Strip Dies, MFT Royal Rose Dies, Memory Box Pattern Heartwood Stencil, Clarity Stencil Brush, MS Leaf Punch, White Crochet Lace

Thanks again for visiting- hugs and have a wonderful week!

While there are many designer elements they all coordinate so beautifully. The flowers pull it all together for a soft romantic card. Thanks for sharing your creativity with Pals Paper Arts.
