Gather Together and Give Thanks
Today I am sharing a card that was designed using the retired Stampin’ Up! set, Gifts of the Earth along with the current set, Painted Harvest.
I used the Splitcoaststampers (SCS) SC751 Sketch for the layout and am also playing along with the Dies R Us #131 “Pumpkins and/or Apples” Challenge (I used My Favorite Things Stitched Circles STAX Dies and Sizzix Circle Dies) and the Sparkles Monthly“Forever Autumn” Challenge.
If you have not had a chance to drop by the above challenge sites yet, I hope you do so- fabulous inspiration from all!
Ink the main focal image with Versafine™ Onyx Black, stamp onto a piece of prepared white cardstock, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.
Once the embossing has cooled, watercolor with water-based markers (see colors below) and die cut with a stitched circle die. Mount onto a circle die from black cardstock.
Trim the rest of the panels (per the sketch) from designer paper, mount onto black cardstock and adhere to a white card base.
Mount the focal image onto the card front with dimensional foam and add the heat embossed sentiment.
Add clear glitter to the flower petals and a few highlights with a white gel pen to the flower center to finish off the card.
