Hi Friends!

Plus this week, the Get Well Tulip items are part of the Tulips & Roses Flower of the Week sale at Stamp Simply- save 15% off!
If
you have not already had a chance to do so, I hope you visit the Stamp Simply blog to
see all of the inspiration from the rest of the SS Design Team as well as the
above challenge sites- gorgeous galleries from all!
To
create this card:
Trim
a piece of the Craft
Consortium Baroque 6x6 paper to 3 ¾ ” x 5”, de-static the upper right hand
area with an embossing powder tool. Ink
the verse sentiment from the Get
Well Tulip Bundle with Versafine
Onyx Black, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.
Once
the embossing has cooled, distress the edges with a distressing tool and mount
onto a 4 ¼” x 5 ¼” piece of dark purple cardstock.
Add
a strip of .75” White
Venise Lace to the panel.
Layer
another pattern of the Baroque 6x6
Paper– cut to approx. 1 ¾” x 3 ⅝”, distress the edges and layer onto a piece
of 2” x 4 ¼” dark purple cardstock. Adhere to the panel covering the raw edge
of the lace.
Add a
strip of purple
seam binding and wrap the edges behind the panel.
Mount
onto a white card base.
Ink the
tulip image from the Get
Well Tulip Bundle with Versafine
Onyx Black, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.
Once the
embossing has cooled, watercolor with water-based markers and die cut with the coordinating
die from the Get
Well Tulip Bundle.
Mount
onto the card front with dimensional foam.
Finish
off the card with a purple
seam binding bow and pearls
in the corners.

Julie, your tulip card is so pretty - love your eye for details (things like the tattered edges) and your amazing bows. Gorgeous!
