Hi Friends!
This week the Design Team at Stamp Simply are sharing Easter cards
and I decided to create a quick set of four cards reflecting the true meaning
of Easter.
I love the Craft
Consortium Ink Drops paper and used the new Sunset
and Rose
6x6 paper pads for this set of cards.
I hope you have time to check out the rest of the projects from the Design Team – gorgeous inspiration by all!
The
set of cards was created by die cutting and embossing the larger cross from the
Stamp
Simply Steel Dies- Crosses from the Sunset
and Rose
Ink
Drops paper.
The
ink drops background paper was trimmed to 3 ¾” x 5” and the verse sentiments from
He
Has Risen or Easter
were stamped with Versafine
Onyx Black ink, then heat embossed with clear embossing powder before adhering
the entire panel to black cardstock.
Once
the black cardstock was trimmed, the panel was mounted onto a white card base.
The inside was decorated with a 1 ½” piece of the same ink drops paper mounted onto black cardstock (I do not like to see designer paper go to waste).
The
layered cross was mounted with dimensional foam and a clear glitter pen was
used to add shimmer to each cross.
Very
easy cards to create and fairly flat for mailing.
So
which set is your favorite- the Sunset
or the Rose? I tend to gravitate towards the pink/purple hues but the orange/yellow in the Sunset pad are gorgeous as well!

Have a blessed week.
Hugs,
